Selong belanak is a charming location with friendly locals and great food! Main beach Munah is buzzing with people holidaying and learning to surf With Warungs along the beach you can grab a board or a cold Bintang and enjoy the water Homestays are the way to go but there are also Also beachfront restaurants and resort style places. This is the most beautiful and scenic beach in the area! Great for beginner surfing lessons - for all ages (lots of kids as well!) Not so great for swimming due to the waves and abundance of surfers but one can certainly take a dip to cool off. Great walking beach where one can get away from the beach loungers, surfers and warungs for some solitude. Lots of great little warungs for cheap eats with a great laid-back vibe. The power of the crashing waves was absolutely mesmerizing and the sunsets were stunning!! Absolutely loved this beach. Lots of great restaurants nearby as well.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
I loved this little town.
I loved this little town. It's not too busy - perfect for couples or families. There are not too many restaurants to choose from but there are a few real gems here (Luana, Klub Kembali, Three Sisters, Pronto). Definitely recommend a stay here to beat the crowds of Kuta, for a better beach, for those hoping to surf and for unbelievably good craft cocktails with local flavours (@Klub Kembali)!Guest review byMELANIENetherlands - 10.0

Amazing! Best beach we’ve been to in Indo. Lovely beginner surfer waves. Lots of places to stay and eat. Easy to get around and friendly people. We ate at Laut Biru for dinners- beautiful and affordable and right on the beach. Lots of warungs to get cheaper meals. Great sandy beach with clear waters. Plenty of options to rent sun loungers, umbrellas, surf boards etc. and plenty of places to eat and drink. Big shout out for the restaurant Laut Biru Bar and Restaurant who have friendly, professional waiting staff, excellent options and delicious food at affordable prices.
