Overall a great place with an industrial interior, exceeding my expectations for Wonosari, I'd give it a 10 if not the scam they tried to do. On arrival we were taken to a lower standard twin room, when I said I booked a different type of the room (double), they asked me how much I paid and said the room on the picture is more expensive as they work with reddoorz, blablabla. Not the client's problem that they cannot set the price and promotions on the booking platforms accordingly. In the end after the call with manager/owner? we were given the room according to the booking and all was good, but that left a bad first impression.

This place was fantastic! Found it after leaving another hotel in the area due to be being so disappointed. The staff was absolutely the best we have experienced. They were always there to help and were very friendly. The room was beautiful with a view of the volcano. The pools were huge. The food was great and the restaurant was really nice. The front desk helped us get a driver that worked out great. All in all this was a great hotel. The best part was that we were nearly alone for most of our stay!

I stayed 2 nights. First breakfast was "American", second breakfast was local. Both were very good. I had one dinner: excellent. 3 courses! The pool, quiet location. The help with everything. The owner wasn't there when I stayed here. Very thoughtful: he made a personal phonecall to inform if everything was alright! Super!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Rohan Jogja for 4 nights last month, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is perfect if you are attending an event at the Jogja Expo Center. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I was able to get the rest I needed at the end of the day. The bathroom was spotless and well-appointed with fresh towels and toiletries. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or concerns I had during my stay. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail and personalized service.
