The Farmhouse was built of stone in the 1700s.
The Farmhouse was built of stone in the 1700s. Fascinating for us Canadians where our houses are most likely made of wood. The house was very spacious, modern without being sterile and very rural. Its also on the Ring of Kerry near a woolen mill where the four of us spent a lot of money! Happily so. Beautiful rural area.Guest review byAlisonCanada - 8.0

You are out in the country so a car is probably needed but...
You are out in the country so a car is probably needed but the mountain views are wonderful and the quiet is lovely. It's a short drive to Killarney and all the shopping and restaurants you could ever want. The national park is within minutes and hiking is 5-15 minutes away depending on where you go.Guest review byValerieUnited States - 10.0

The property was in a beautiful courtyard setting on the grounds of Beaufort House . Beautiful gardens, space and exterior for kids. It was nestled amongst a tranquil countryside setting .The house was spacious , charm and very homely. The hosts did their utmost to help us. It was only 10 minutes from the centre of Killarney so we had the best of both worlds. We will definately go back in the future.
