The property was so beautiful, and it always made you feel like you where at home. It is big and spacious. From the moment we checked in till the moment we checked out it was amazing I cannot fault anything on the northern hotel. From the staff all the way up to managers they were amazing. If you have a indigenoused or diagnosed child with a medical condition the northern hotel is the place to be. They make you feel your apart of them and the hotel is yours to. Any problem you had the front desk always went out of there way to help you with that problem and never had an attitude or a face on them. I found a problem with the cold tap in the bathroom and rang down to let them know only 2 minutes of me putting the phone down they were at my door and apologizing the other time I went down to front desk and like that oh I am so sorry let me get that fixed for you. My partner is in a wheelchair for long distance and the hotel was more than adequate to cope with it. Oh don’t get me started on the food, it was amazing just out of this world. I could never fault the food and the food portions were great you could get 1 dinner for 2 people. I cannot even remember any other hotel that we have stayed in that was so helpful and pleasant to help. They were so understanding of our circumstances with our child been autistic and so patient with him and really interacting with he loved it never met a hotel like it. When we were checking out we were looking for a taxi the normal taxi the hotel uses was not working. The other girl went out of her way to ring I think her dad as he is a taxi driver to try and get us a taxi. We have never experienced that before people going out of there way to help us in a hotel stay. I wanna say thank you to Alannah, Kayleigh, and the other 2 girls that I forget there names.

Awesome place for the value. Boyfriend and I popped into Bundoran for a little surf for the evening and it was perfect. 5 minute walk into town, 10 minute walk to the beach, really nice staff, parking, sitting area, WiFi, and delicious breakfast! Lots of cute details to make it a really lovely visit.

    Bundoran ,being a seaside and holiday destination thrives during the summer. You could meet anyone from anywhere here. But most importantly all are made to feel so welcome by the general community not just the hoteliers and gift shop owners. I accidentally left my rear passenger door actually open all night outside the Bank House and not a thing was touched!!! This coming from someone who has been a victim of a locked car theft in my own driveway in Loughlinstown Co Dublin….

    While there are still great attractions for children and...

    While there are still great attractions for children and families in Bundoran, the town itself and the buildings have become very dilapidated. One example of this is Bay View House B and B where we stayed for many years once a building that was always so beautifully kept, but its exterior wasn't painted, there were clothes hanging out windows to dry and the once beautiful gardens unkept, upsetting to see for such a once beautiful building in such a prime location. The streets were full of litter and there are now so many fast food outlets with only a couple of nice places to sit snd eat left in the town. We eat in Maddens on the Bridge and got a fantastic meal there.

    Bundoran is my happy place .. no matter the weather !

    Bundoran is my happy place .. no matter the weather ! Often 4 Seasons in one day .. and that’s the way I like it ! Plenty of stuff for the grandkids to do .. Waterworld .. Amusements ..and even the Eclipse movie house .. all a short walk from each other .. and the stunning cliff walks !

    The town could do with a good upgrade.

    The town could do with a good upgrade. The streets were very busy.Pubs overflowing and very noisy.We sat for a while near the green and a drone kept flying overhead and down overhead the town.A lady was drinking alone in the green park area and just got up and left all the empties after her.There was a lot of litter in the town could do with extra bins.Some flowers too to soften things and improve astetics.Maybe less trinket shops and take aways and more nice cafès with seating outside.A lot of the shops could do with painting and nice new signage.The beach out the road was the highlight of our trip, we were there at sunset absolutely beautiful.The path down to it needs attention ASAP

    Staying at the Bank House was comfortable, but I could hear...

    Staying at the Bank House was comfortable, but I could hear everything in the room above me. I stayed on the 1st floor (Ground floor then 1st floor!) in a room with a queen and single bed. I did not watch TV, but the TV did not swivel in order for the main bed to be able to watch it. It was a very large room. Breakfast in the morning was very good. The staff were wonderful!! I came back the next night and really appreciated the Trad music that took place that night. A fantastic experience!! Bundoran was an excellent town to explore the surroundings! I really enjoyed eating at Stakes. The mussels were fantastic... and, great portion, especially as a starter. I enjoyed driving and exploring nearby beaches. I am still amazed that this is an area known for excellent surfing. Ballyshannon is a great nearby town to explore. Co. Donegal was one of my favorite areas to explore. I really enjoyed driving the Wild Atlantic Way, not only was it beautiful, but very touching to the soul. Hiking Siliabh Liag was my favorite hike. Absolutely breathtaking! My rental car did not have an USB. My phone would wind up dying. A nice man was kind enough to give me his cigarette lighter USB adapter, so I could keep my phone charged while using Google Maps... : )

    Bundoran is a great place for families very relaxed with...

    Bundoran is a great place for families very relaxed with children and dog entering pubs which is great as long as your pet is well behaved. Lidl, supervalue are just off main strip so very handy! Lots of activities from the fair, go karts, waterpark, bowling and of course the beach so great for families needing to entertain the kids. Locals are very friendly and service was great in every place we went. Definitely recommend bundoran for a family break.

    Location, prime location, couldn't believe our luck finding this apartment. Stunning view from this apartment, looking on to roughy walk, beach and great northern hotel golf course and hotel. Beach, outdoor amusements , a playground, and WaterWorld all with 3 min walk. Less than 150 meters from main street with restaurant, pubs, ice-cream parlours and indoor Amusements all close by.
