Carrick is so quaint and lovely during the day but things close early and very few restaurants so little to eat in evening. I loved that it was so close to Slieve League which is a must see in Ireland! Donegal is just a beautiful area in general, loved it!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Its a small town but it has a shop at the filling station...
Its a small town but it has a shop at the filling station selling grocereis etc. The location is good to get to the coast and the mountains. Carrick is a very rural area but absolutely beautiful in nature, probably the most gorgeous part of the world I’ve ever been to. Hiking around Carrick was such a good experience. In terms of food, I went to the local Chinese takeaway which was decent (can’t really expect that much from a takeaway tbf).
