United StatesThe Grove house is a beautiful farm house in the country! Great gardens on the grounds! Great amenities! But the best part is the warm friendly service provided by Jackie, the hostess. She is a delightful woman who we became very good friends with. She went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. She helped us find people in the area we knew from 27 years ago when we stayed in this area on our honeymoon. She was a wealth of knowledge. It was a wonderful experience staying there.

United StatesStaying at this family run B&B might just be the highlight of our 3 week tour of Ireland! What a treat to visit with Celia, who welcomed us personally to her beautifully decorated, stately home with tea and apple pie. We so enjoyed talking with her and hearing all about the area. She gave us tips for traveling and told us amazing stories. Then the B&B were also outstanding; comfortable bed with nice linens; clean, huge bathroom and a delicious, full Irish breakfast prepared by Celia herself and served in the formal dining room. We give this sweet home-stay our highest recommendations and plan to come back next time we come to Ireland.

The proximity to Ballyhass water park was very convenient.
The proximity to Ballyhass water park was very convenient. Unfortunately, the restaurants close very early (between 9 and 10 pm). So it is very difficult to get a decent late meal. We would recommend the Khao Asian restaurant, it was fantastic. We would NOT recommend rhe Hibernian Hotel. The food is absolutely awful.Guest review byColmIreland - 8.0
Mallow is a market-town, with a long and interesting history...
Mallow is a market-town, with a long and interesting history. There is quite a lot to explore. The town has its much of its vernacular houses still intact. However, the houses are being let go to rack and ruin. With a little bit of care and imagination, the town could be brought back to life, and this would make it as attractive to tourists as Clonakilty. Also, there is too much traffic on the main street. This should be diverted around the edge of the town. Mallow Castle, one of Ireland's few Elizabethan fortified mansions, is presently being renovated by the OPW. It is well worth seeing, and the surrounding park is beautiful. It has a children's playground which is always full. The old St James Church has a farmers market every Saturday. Another nearby attraction is Doneraile Court, 12 km to the north west.Guest review byMuireannIreland - 10.0

"The hotel exceeded our expectations! The warm atmosphere made us feel right at home. Its prime location, just a stone's throw from the train station, provided effortless access to the city. The peaceful surroundings and exceptional staff made our stay truly enjoyable. Their helpfulness and hospitality were top-notch, making our experience absolutely delightful. Mallow a good place to base yourself if doing a touring...
Mallow a good place to base yourself if doing a touring holiday in Co.Cork. Train station gives good access to Cork city. Blarney Castle only 20minutes away by road . Also a short road trip to Charville. Mallow Town Park is a hidden gem, well worth spending time exploring it!Guest review byGeraldineIreland

We arrived in the rain on our motorcycles and she greeted us with a nice cup of tea and some scones. A very welcome feeling. Rooms were sufficient, certainly considering the price. Everything worked accordingly and we had a toilet and shower in our room no. 1.
