My brother & I were there for a funeral.
My brother & I were there for a funeral. My purse was 'lifted' from the room 208 whilst I was at a funeral. We had checked out - just before funeral mass - and when I realised that the purse should still have been in the drawer in the room (after cleaner had been in) I telephoned. I was told - no purse. Shocked I asked if I could check. Sure enough drawer still contained the bagged hairdryer whose position had changed (now centre of drawer) but Mulberry purse had 'disappeared' My parents loved this hotel. This accommodation is excellent.
This accommodation is excellent. Location is stunning, room was as shown on the website, very clean and view from room was a bonus. Having restaurant and bar facilities on site was a plus since we did not need to travel out for dinner. I visit this part of the West almost monthly for the last 30 years and used to stay in the Connemara Coast hotel which I loved. Unfortunately, the hotel is not what ot used to be. So happy that I have found an even better alternative in terms of location, views, friendly service and unparalled breakfast which is served to order rather than a tasteless, plastic buffet.
