Loved this Gem in Roscommon Town. From the moment I arrived in the car park Noel the maintenance man helped me park, very nice ,helpful chap..Olivia on reception was so friendly and explained everything and arranged me a taxi to the wedding venue I was attending. The room was lovely, bed very comfortable and bathroom beautiful. The breakfast was perfect all included in price and 2 teabags in the teapot was a nice change. Very relaxed place, staff couldn't do enough for their guests. Highly recommend 100% Thank you Gleesons I'll definitely be back.

Our host was just exceptional. Tommy was the full time host and he was so attentive I was just amazed. Plus he's a fantastic cook! And all the help in navigating and finding fun and interesting places to visit was so helpful, better than any tour guide could have been. the rooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of space for all of us. Very quiet country setting but lots to do near by, more than I thought.

None of us had been here before.

None of us had been here before. We did the river tour to Clonmacnoise with Hidden Heartland tours, and despite the awful weather when we were there, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We ate at Thyme restaurant for one of the nights - fabulous. We now have some very good memories to cherish in the future, from the accommodation, tour and meal.

We have family in Roscommon so we’ve been there a few time, it’s a lovely little town with such friendly people. Everything you would need is all within walking distance it’s a great place to go for a short break, we stayed at the Abbey hotel so there was no need to use the car to go into town. We can’t wait to go back next year.

Roscommon has more to show then what meets the eye, I particularly enjoyed my brief visit to the castle. On my return I intend to make use of the professional staff. Wonderful little eateries in the town with tasty fare at very reasonable prices. More should be made of the beautiful church buildings.

Clean, comfortable rooms that were cleaned daily and an ideal location to explore the heritage sights of Roscommon and surrounding areas. Included breakfast was tasty, and there were good options available, including vegetarian, traditional, and pancakes, alongside some cold options such as cereals, soda bread, cheeses, pastries, and yoghurt. Nice onsite bar and restaurant. Staff friendly and welcoming 😅

Excellent staff, very welcoming, a very friendly family run hotel. Breakfasts were delicious, we also had dinner on our last night there and it was very tasty with a good choice of menu. Rooms were clean and very spacious but in need of updating, but that wouldn't stop us from staying there again

The staff at Gleesons were all so friendly and accommodating. I loved that this hotel was pet friendly which is difficult to find around Ireland. The food in the restaurant in the evening was lovely and overall we had a great one night stay.
