    Once a ferryport devoid of any real amenities apart from a hotel, Rosslare now boasts several bewer hotels, a fantadtic fish and chip shop, a restaurant-bar, a Pizza cafe, a supermarket and a post office. The village if Kilrane is a short walk away where you'll find two bars that serve food.

    We liked Rosslare because it was dog friendly and therefore...

    We liked Rosslare because it was dog friendly and therefore we got a good reception wherever we went with our dogs. The people were friendly towards us and our dogs. We were able to take them on some lovely walks off the leads. We liked the area for walking and even saw a seal a couple of times.

    The port is currently undergoing a major refit and expansion and will be considerably improved when finished. Users are not very inconvenienced by the work that is ongoing. We found accommodation in short supply and it would be strongly advisable to pre book as early as possible for your intended stay. Still the ideal arrival port from the U.K. for those living in the midlands and south. Good roads lead northwards towards Wexford.

    It is literally a place to stay near the ferry port but nothing else. Get there just in time to go to bed and get up and leave for the ferry. Overpriced in my opinion but that is just my opinion. Would I stay here again …. NO

    I was transiting by the ferry to England and arrived and...

    I was transiting by the ferry to England and arrived and left in the dark. I had one day in the area and went to Johnstown Castle and grounds which is not far away. It has recently been opened to the public. I wish the weather had been better so that I could have gone to the beach at Rosslare. Wexford town is close which was interesting to explore.

    Booked in for my sailing but my booking with irish ferries...

    Booked in for my sailing but my booking with irish ferries was cancelled and put on a senna sailing and I will not book with senna sailing again,irish ferries are the best sailing you can get in my humble opinion Did not see any of rosslair dark when I arrived dark when I left but road system very good to get the any part of Ireland you want to get to

    Ferryport House B&B has recently been renovated to a very high standard. The beds are extremely comfy and the bed linen very good quality. The bathroom included lovely toiletries and had a fab waterfall walk in shower. You can’t beat the location for Rosslare harbour and the staff were extremely helpful in recommending a time to leave to catch our ferry.

    The welcome was fabulous. In a quiet yet convenient location to the ferry port. Clean and better than many hotel rooms I have been in, everything to a very high standard. I would definitely choose to stay again.
