The town is absolutely beautiful and the area is very quiet...
The town is absolutely beautiful and the area is very quiet and peaceful. My hostess at the B&B was very friendly and recommended a lovely pub a few minutes away. The food was hot, tasty and very affordable. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. There is a lovely trail walk just a short distance away which is fabulous. The hosts were so warm, friendly and knowledgeable. It felt like you were part of the family. Lovely location and so peaceful. There was always some home cooked cake ready for you. The accommodation was good and would look forward to going back again. I highly recommend anyone to stay at this B&B. It’s best to have a car to see the wider area. Helen is a great host and I enjoyed my stay in Hillview.
Helen is a great host and I enjoyed my stay in Hillview. The B&B is located at the edge of the estate and has lovely views ( try calling her if you want that exact room with the view ) . If you heading down to limerick , this might be a good place to stay as it is in a countryside and the mornings are absolutely amazing. There is also a small garden in backyard with a nice little table and chair, where you can relax , read a book ( which I did) and just soak it in. Her husband is a very knowledgeable person in mining and I had the opportunity to strike a conversation with him, which went on for an interesting discussion for around 45 mins. I learnt a lot about the mining .. we all live and learn. If you want any groceries etc , there is a small shop near Hickeys pub , but if you care to drive for 10 mins you will find a large Tesco in a town called Nenagh. If you want to microwave anything or want to have tea , the ground floor has the amenities ( microwave , kettle , cutlery etc. You will be treated to a good Irish hospitality when in this B&B.
