I liked the room which is spacious. As it was non AC but still it was ok with 2 ceiling fans. While booking there was some confusion with AC and nonAc though the owner gave me an option to upgrade without extra money but that's fine I already settled in the room by that time. The caretaker is such a good person. Very helpful and kind. Neat and clean room and also the entire balcony area.

LOCATION IS LITTLE FAR FROM TEMPLE BUT ATMOSPHERE WAS TOO PLEASANT. OWN VEHICLE IS CUSTOMER WILL CHOOSE THIS STAY. ROOM WAS NEAT AND CLEAN . STAFF WAS VERY HUMBLE. OVERALL BEST EXPERIENCE AND VALUE FOR MONEY.

I stayed for two nights and had a great experience overall. Karunakaran, the local host, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He guided us to nearby attractions, home-style restaurants, and shared useful local tips. The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. One suggestion would be to provide a local auto-rickshaw contact for easier commuting. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and locally guided stay!

    chidambaram is a must for everyone interested in indian culture and spirituality , its main tempel is wonderful , the friday evening puja ovewhelming , a once in a lifetime experience . having visited india 8 times since 1971 i have really seen a lot and love this country , chidambaram is among the few very best there is .
