It has everything you might need/want and more: incredible home cooked meals made with food from their garden, amazing hospitality, stargazing on the rooftop, fast Wifi, big and beautiful rooms, and deep peace and stillness. We had an incredible stay at this property! The location was perfect, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable throughout our stay. A special mention to Stanzin, who made our experience so beautiful and homely. He even arranged our car bookings to Pangong, which were just amazing. The entire staff was welcoming and warm, making our visit even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay!

This place is as perfect as one could be. Right on the banks of Indus, with stellar views of the valley, super courteous hosts (Nico, Jigmet, Salman and team were amazing), delicious food (the parwal, kaddu type sabzis we had here would put most five star Niharis and Chettinad Chickens to shame). As we were with kids, the acclimatization hiccups slowed us down. But we didn't really regret this, as the hosts were so caring and the property is breathtakingly beautiful.

It's located bang on national highway, good ambiance with tasty food and smily manager. Clean and spacious Chalet, sufficient parking space, green plants coating apple arcades. Would love to stay here again.

We loved everything about Dakpa House from the location to the cleanliness to the staff and their excellent service. It was nice to be able to walk for 5min and dip our toes in the Indus river and then come back to a great meal served up by the staff.
