Jodhpur is an interesting historic city with a magnificent fort towering over the old blue city. The area around the clocktower has numerous bazaars and places to stay and eat, great for shopping and exploring. Jodhpur offers wonderful local handcrafts and is worth visiting for this alone. The old blue city can be reached by foot from the clocktower area and it is worth wandering through the narrow laneways and alleys to get a sense of history and living in this part of Rajasthan.Guest review byMyersThailand - 6.0

the Mehrangarh fort, the Umaid Palace was worth it. Some restaurants were good. Shopping is great if you have time to look at many stires. The tax drivers take a cut by taking you to their know shopping places - please avoid and do your own research. The One Cafe near the steps and On the Rocks and Pal haveli are good eateries.Guest review byDita

The family is lovely, the rooms are nicely decorated, bed sheets and towels are clean, the old haveli itself is a heaven of peace, pretty quiet (which is not to neglect in India !). For me, having delicious food on the rooftop terrasse with amazing view on the Fort and lovely people around was more than the best experience I could ever have had here in Jodhpur. The hotel is beautifully decorated in the signature colour. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the location is just perfect. Also a must is the cooking course provided by the hotel with the owner’s wife. This was my favourite activity in our whole journey. Normally I wouldn’t say this, but in this case book everything through the hotel. They get you the best deal and the best services.
