Excellent location - near the airport as also the Golf Course and the world famous Tocklai Tea Research Institute. The property is newly constructed so much of the appliances and gadgets are working. The young staff is enthusiastic and as responsive as one would expect from a small town. East facing window was excellent - with the sunrise waking us up. The a la carte dinner was excellent with special request for No Onion No Garlic taken on smilingly. The breakfast buffet had several veg and non veg options.

They are provided bad rooms, ac was not working, bed was not comfortable and full of living we faced horrible noise ( pulling chairs, moving gas cylinders ect.) They had good rooms therefore they provides worthless room. What ever as per things it's zero.

    Love city. Tea gardens, city vibes in cafes around the city, Nimati ghar - sitting by the Brahmaputra and enjoying the view, Golf resort, Sukafa kshetra and Gibbon Sanctuary were some of the most loved places in Jorhat city.

    Jorhat is an attractive town, fast changing and developing...

    Jorhat is an attractive town, fast changing and developing but still retains elements of its history and heritage. Fine buildings in the traditional style are still to be found, Gymkhana Club, Chameli Memsahab's Bungalow, Circuit House and many other smaller buildings still exist in the backstreets. Tea Gardens should be visited whenever possible

    Jorhat is a laid back sleepy town.

    Jorhat is a laid back sleepy town. It is not much crowded and the entire town has one just one crossroad called baruah chariali from which you can go to Gar ali, AT road, JB road and Nou ali flyover to rly stn. Gar ali connects to JB road and on the road one can find the administrative buildings, district judges session court, rajma pukhuri, shankardev chitrakala sadan, SP's residence, DC's bunglow, jorhat stadium complex and wola! It's all over!

    Not too big of a city neither too small.

    Not too big of a city neither too small. Almost everything is available with minimal traffic jams. And the best part is, it lies in the middle of various tourist places such as majuli, sibsagar, gibbon wildlife sanctuary and nagaland.

    Since I went there for official purpose that didn't get much...

    Since I went there for official purpose that didn't get much time to explore. However, a quick glimse of the busy street of Jorhat city has caught my eye with the beauty of place which is rich of historic monument and statue everywhere. I enjoyed mouth watering local food, Sukafa parks museum etc.
