    This is not the first time we are travelling to Goa.

    This is not the first time we are travelling to Goa. Previously also we have travelled, and we had a very pleasant experience. This time my wife was travelling alone. From Madgaon station she had travelled to hotel where she was informed that there is no room available in spite of having a confirmed booking. The hotel persons did not have the courtesy to inform us about the development either by phone or by mail. The location is also such that it is in 5th floor of some Commercial Complex. It was good that we have not paid for the accomodation in advance.

    Please do visit this simple hotel if you wanna stay...... Staff is very polite to speak and helpful even the restaurant at the 1st floor is amazing lovely food they serve......The receptionist Vishaka is very helpful with the guest

    It is an old city and has a market.

    It is an old city and has a market. If anyone plans for dudhsagar waterfalls, they can make a stay here. Beaches are for just relaxation with minimum options of party and water sports. Sure, we have options for cheap & best food and also we can try local goan food. Two or three days wills be more enough to experience the place if you are a kinda person to enjoy the local culture and food. You could choose to visit this place at the end of monsoon if hot weather is not suitable for you.

    Just as Dabolim (airport) is the starting point for air-travellers, Thivim (for North Goa), Madgaon (for Central and South Goa) and Vasco (North Goa again) are the gateways for train-travellers. One can sure halt at Madgaon for at least 1-2 days, see nearby beaches like Majorda, Colva, Sernabatim and Banaulim beaches and plan out the rest of the itinerary for South/North Goan beaches - both locations almost equidistant eitherway !

    Madgaon city is basically unfriendly and hostile to tourists especially when it comes to people from Mumbai. NO OLA or UBER....Taxis and private cars are looters, they just don't have conscience fleecing each and every strangers, tourists. Railway administration is also the same. It's all in their mindsets, impossible to change. Always misguiding tourists if ask for any particular location My personal advice....Goa is overhyped Wanna enjoy beaches...I bet Kerala is much more beautiful and a perfect place for family.

    For the price this hotel is excellent. The room was clean and the restaurant food and service were also excellent. The restaurant staff provided us with poached eggs in the morning even though this was not usual for them as they usually cater for Indian guests.. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The room had a fridge, wifi, bath, large bed, nice white sheets and comfortable bed. Free bottled water also provided.

    Simple hotel for a short stay near to the railway station. The staff was courteous and always willing to help. The food was great and quite surprisingly good. Breakfast spread was OK.Overall a comfortable stay for a day.
