Stay at Misty Mountains definitely exceeded our expectations. The place itself has a lot to offer to the people staying there, including beautiful surrounding nature, birds and falling water sounds, spices and tea tours, hiking routes, and even bird watching. The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. If you are planning to visit Thekkady or will be cruising around this area, most definitely consider spending one or two nights at the Misty Mountains Experience.

From arrival to departure we felt at home with Missy & Sunny, incredible genuine and warm people. The view from the homestay is breathtaking and the food is one of the best we have had in India. For people who are interested there is loads to see on their farm, spices fruits and vegetables, and these you see at breakfast or dinner back your plate. Isn't that amazing?

If you come to stay at this home stay you will be treated to the most warm and personal hospitality from the owner Mr Jobby. The views from the rooms are incredible overlooking the family tea plantation. Take some time in the morning to listen the cacophony of bird song from your balcony. The food served here is top notch. One of the many highlights of our stay was meeting Mr Jobby’s friends one who runs a small spice shop (much more authentic than the numerous large spice shop enterprises in the area) and another, a school friend, whose family grow cardamoms and process them for other local growers. I urge you to spend a couple of nights here, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely fabulous stay and amazing hospitality. We were made to feel truly at home. arrangements were Fabulous, We really enjoyed our excursion to the waterfalls. There are so many spaces to relax, gaze at the view. The scenery was beautiful with full of fog. I wholeheartedly loved this place and thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of nature.” “The facility itself was splendid. Additionally, cleanliness and service were top-notch. This is my second time at the property. It is at a beautiful location. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Caretaker is very helpful. View from the parking lot is awesome. There is a small stream at a walkable distance where we can have a nice time. Evening and morning the property will be surrounded by mist

    A bit removed from the hustle of the Vagamon town.

    A bit removed from the hustle of the Vagamon town. Is great if you want less busy roads and quieter environment. Can visit Panchalimedu hill station, Green Meadows, Pine Forest, Murugan Mala, Pattumala and many waterfalls nearby. There are opportunities for beautiful waterfall treks as well. Don't miss out on the top hill views of the western ghats. Thekkady is also only a short drive away.
