I liked everything about the hotel. It's in true sense a home away from home. The rooms and the lounges on both the floors are very thoughtfully and tastefully designed. The rooms are so spacious with two comfortable sofas, a working table, a tea table and side tables plus all the lighting. It has three windows from which sunlight comes in from all 3 directions. The bathroom is very clean and also has a bath cubicle. Even after all the furniture you have ample space to move in the room. On every floor there is a sitting lounge with sofas and book shelves and the locally made carpets placed tastefully. It is a place where you will never feel bored and would like to have leisure time in the hotel itself. The room has an ipad and a coffee maker with coffee cartridges, a milk frother, and an electric kettle for all your tea coffee needs. From the room the snow clad mountain peak can be seen throughout the day until late evening. Above all, the staff is extremely polite, cooperative, and soft spoken which is unmatched and found only in the Taj group of hotels. They do everything to make your stay comfortable and make yourself feel as if you are at home. They are always available for your support. It seems they have been trained by someone who has been regular to Taj hotels or may be by a person who has worked in Taj hotels. The hotel staff packed breakfast after checking what we would prefer and provided an oxygen cylinder (free of cost) for our day trip to Pangong. We stayed there for 3 days and I wanted to spend an entire day in the hotel to relax and rejuvenate but didn't have time. I will visit next time just to spend some relaxing time in this hotel. I can keep writing positive things about the hotel endlessly.

This is a good hotel with all necessary facilities. I spent only one night there and was not able to evaluate the breakfast, but all other things were ok. The location is bout ten minutes from the central streets (Market etc). When I came, they allowed me to choose one of the two rooms. The first was on the ground floor and had a view on high mountains, but I chose the second, with a balcony and without such a view. I left the hotel very early in the morning - and there were no problems with that (even though the person responsible for that had to wake up). The territory of the hotel is flowery, clean and green and has several chairs where one can have a rest.

Perfect location near town centre, restaurants and shops. Room was fantastic, staff were so helpful, friendly and accommodating. Bed was super comfy and amenities were excellent. Food was really good particularly the breakfast. Great views of snow laden mountains from the room. Highly recommend this hotel.

We could not be more grateful to have chosen Dolkhar Resort as our base for exploring Ladakh in late September 2024. The overall experience was beyond perfect and really made a huge difference to our travel. We were so impressed by how everything was coherent and beautifully curated in such remote location. The property is really flawless and done in such good taste. Everything is sustainable without any compromise on the comfort and aesthetics. We loved every detail of it. Their lovely staff helped us arrange everything before coming and define the itineraries for both the local trips while staying in Leh as well as the few days trip to the more remote locations. Everyone was extremely kind and looked after us during our stay. We ate at Tsas restaurant everyday and tried probably all the dishes which were local or modern interpretation of the local cuisine and each time it was a beautiful experience. It was clear to us that the people behind Dolkhar have put a lot of heart and thought to make this place so special. Very clean spacious rooms. Amazing staff (shout out to manager Naman, and head waiter Ravi). Nothing was too much trouble. We ended up staying for a week after our son got altitude sickness. The guys had oxygen on hand, and knew exactly what to do. In house food is amazing. Location a short walk to main bazaar, but very quiet with views to Stok Kangri.
