Try Yaseen restaurant, on 40 Road , next to it is Zaynal austa restaurant, very clean and authentic. Don’t forget to visit QALAAT ERBIL , ( be there from 5 pm onwards ) busy yet beautiful place to enjoy ، full of street vendors and old souq. Don’t forget to visit famous resorts : Bekhal and Geli Ali Beg waterfalls, old souq of Shaqlawa and Shinglebanna. You’ll need full day for the above. Erbil is becoming a modern city, everything looks amazing and organized, I loved the restaurants in Erbil also the shopping centres, the malls, the parks, altogether it’s a beautiful city, the only thing I didn’t like is when you get cut off by some of the crazy drivers and I really hope that the authorities will pay more attention to this matter and fix it as soon as possible :)Guest review byFAKHRICanada - 8.0
Getting around is easy.
Getting around is easy. Nice parks and resorts and tourist areas. I liked the tourist areas around Erbil, short day trips then you can go back to your hotel in the city. I would stay in Ainkawa rather than Erbil, it is a waking area. Erbil is a car city, like Dubai or Jakarta. It is not a walking city like Kuala Lumpur or Paris. If one has a car than Erbil area is nice, especially if one can go up into the mountains in the summer.Guest review byStephenCanada
