The best hotel we had during our 1 week trip to Iceland. Owner and everybody in the hotel are extremely nice people, the room is clean and spacious. The hotel itself is combination of a museum and an art gallery, tehy have a small sauna and hot tub as well. Would definitely recommend to stay there.

We really liked the house! The corridors were decorated with small things and books throughout. Each room had its own theme and was decorated accordingly. For example, we stayed in the "Africa" room, which featured African-inspired décor. The house was clean, and the host had thoughtfully anticipated every need a guest might have. The bathroom had everything you need, and the kitchen was just as well-stocked. You can also buy some stuff from the host to make breakfast in the morning. We felt very welcome and comfortable during our stay. There was also a hot tub available, although we didn’t get a chance to try it. Definitely a highly recommended place to stay!

The location is AMAZING and the little house makes you feel you are in a fairy tail. Even if we didn't get much in contact with the owner, check in and out was simple and easy. Very clean facility and is highly recommended for anyone who wants to clear his or hers mind of city noise.

A cozy cabin in the woods perfect for our holiday! It was the only place in Iceland where the hosts put the extra work and the cabin was equipped with bath robes, coffee, tea & spices. The hosts were the most amazing people really helpful and sweet. We stayed during some crazy snowy days and they constantly kept cleaning the roads! We loved it and we will be back soon ❤️

The house was the best house we stayed in in iceland, it was cozy and perfect for the group of people we were, the landscape around the property was incredible and we saw an amazing sunrise. The hoster was nice to us the moment we requested her help (when we couldnt find the property she came for us to help as much as she could). The common area and its comfyness is one of the best memories i have from the trip.

I love the wooden floor, very clean room, located in the Center and very friendly Staff members!

Possibly the best hotel in Akureyri, with a very stylish and cool vibes, every room is well decorated, with details that make it elegant, breakfast was an absolute delight, with the best cinnamon roll we ever had, and the reception was extremely helpful and nice (with special mention to the gentleman from Barcelona). You won't go wrong with this hotel for sure!

Coming from Taiwan, I love remote small towns. There aren't many people here, and they're so friendly. We cooked our own meals, and it felt like we were living here. It was wonderful. The beer baths were a two-minute walk away, which was a wonderful experience. At night, we even saw the Northern Lights from our chairs next to the hotel! If you like a quiet, light-free spot, this is a great choice! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. :)
