Super friendly staff. Hard working cleaning crew and breakfast staff. Lots of yummy choices at breakfast. Loved the kitchy decor. Loved big windows overlooking lake. Comfy beds. Hot hot tub. Beautifully updated bathroom. Nice welcome touch leaving chocolates for us. Lovely lobby areas to hang out and enjoy the view.

Breakfast included, was a big plus especially while going on tours afterwards. And the location for tours was amazing, we were always the last ones to pick up and the first ones to drop off. More time to sleep or have a breakfast and more time after the tours. When you are going every day somewhere it really counts. The rooms was clean and spacious.

The hotel is very cosy and it has everything a traveller would want and more, even outside of the check-in period. The dining area has coffee machines available not only for the great continental breakfast. Also, a microwave oven is there, so after a tiring day of exploring, one can choose not to eat out and bring something there in the evenings. The staff was always very polite and helpful, which added to the overall great feeling of the trip.

I liked self check-in possibility. Also I've got very quick answer from owner, about check-in instructions, by phone and via booking.com. Price was very good, especially comparing to other Iceland hotels, good breakfast was included as a present. Room spacious, beds comfortable, all clean. There was kettle in the room and some tea and coffee bags, nice. There are KFC and BONUS store nearby. Recommend this hotel!
