Amazing location!! Cottages were arranged so you felt very private. Self contained with just enough kitchen items to prepare basic meals - loved having the bbq. Comfortable beds.

We loved everything about the property. The room was very cozy and clean. The location was perfect (right in the middle of the golden circle). We also loved that we could get a delicious farm to table dinner on the property as well as ice cream and coffee. The staff was very friendly and we loved the dogs and cows.

We loved absolutely everything! The location was perfect for a stopover before heading out for a day trip on the golden circle. The restaurant across the hotel was great. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Bathroom was awesome. Bed was big and comfy and the hot tubs outside were just amazing to spend time in. Big bonus having the big bathrobes and slippers to go straight from your room to the bathtubs outside. Loved our stay there and we will be back! Cannot recommend it enough!

    I have driven through on numerous occasions but never stopped. I was pleasantly surprised by the place. Lovely view of the lake adequate local facilities close by and only a half hour drive to Geyser and Gullfoss.

    Laugarvatn is in an excellent location between the national park to the west, and Geysir and Gulfoss Waterfall to the east. It has a beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding hills, a few restaurants, gas, and plenty of lodging.

    The facilities and cleanliness are fantastic. The hotel is also very close to the lagoon which is super convenient. Breakfast was an amazing spread but the best thing about this hotel is the staff. Filip looked after us so well and accommodated our dietary requirements. He is super friendly and made our stay better.

    Charming cottage in the middle of the meadows with grazing sheep and singing birds. The cottage looks small from the outside but in fact it's a full-fledged hotel room of a good size with a fully equipped kitchenette and a comfortable bathroom. The cottage is nicely furnished, very clean. Would like to stay again.

    there is no kitchen but a nice bonus was to have kettle and microwave oven inside the room, so we could heat some meals. Also Fontana is very close and hotel offers a sale for it. Room was very comfy and clean.
