Hotel Gentile is in the main square of Agerola. if you are doing the Path of the Gods walk it starts outside the hotel so perfect location . has a good restaurant and Mario the owner is very friendly and helpful nice rooms , good breakfast and good price I will be back another time

I had an amazing experience staying at this place! The room was spotlessly clean, and the view of the sea and mountains was absolutely breathtaking. The owner is a truly wonderful person—super responsive, kind, and a pleasure to talk to. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, offering a variety of delicious options. Everything about my stay was perfect, and I would definitely love to come back. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay!

We loved everything about our time. at OSpritt House. It seemed as if we were the first people to ever stay - the apartment was immaculately clean and tidy. It was well laid out and was stocked with everything you would ever need.

Everything was perfect From the outstanding breakfast every morning to the acts of kindness, like driving us to the start of the Path of The God's . This place offers tranquility and convenience to get around the area. Sitting in the garden with my book and a cup of tea made for a perfect relaxing morning on our busy Italian schedule. Communication is very efficient and so helpful with lots of tips and suggestions. We cannot praise this place highly enough. Highly recommend.

Casa Torre has been the best place we’ve stayed so far! The hosts are incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming people. They were always helpful and made us feel at home. The breakfast was absolutely perfect—it reminded me of the breakfasts I used to have with my family during childhood. As for the house, it was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, the air conditioner worked perfectly, and the bathroom had everything we needed. The place was cleaned daily, which made everything feel even more relaxing. The location is also fantastic. There are many great restaurants nearby, and compared to Amalfi, the food here is not only much cheaper but also tastes better. We highly recommend trying Grand Pizza, which is just a short walk away. You can also reach the nearby bus station in just 2 minutes on foot, from where you can take a direct bus to Amalfi (around 30 minutes) or even to Naples. There are also great hiking trails around San Lazzaro and the surrounding area. In short: absolutely perfect. A solid 10 out of 10!

Costa blu has everything the traveller needs - cozy and clean room, located in a center of a town, everything is new and in good condition in apartment. Despite rainy weather outside, this was only apartment during these rainy days where you couldn't feel humidity inside, the host took care of heating to feel absolute comfort. Host Sebastiano was very helpful, relaxed and natural person - really nice was to meet him and definetelly would come back again.

    Agerola provides an escape from the tourist busy towns on...

    Agerola provides an escape from the tourist busy towns on the Amalfi coast. It is higher in elevation than the towns of Amalfi, Positano and Maiori. These towns are port towns and in the busy travel months are always full of tourists. However, there is more to do in these towns than in Agerola, and if you plan to only stay in one of those towns, only go between 2 close towns, spend your vacation time on the beach, then I would recommend to stay in one of the coast towns. If you want a more central point to all of these and other towns (ex. Sorrento, Ravello, etc...) and plan to travel each day to a new town and a quiet place to rest at night, then Agerola is a great place to stay. If you stay in Agerola and since the roads are one lane both ways, you have to factor in travel times to all other towns (in case you need to catch a ferry, have dinner reservations, etc...).

    The small town feel of Agerola was great as we arrived from Rome which was really chaotic Loved the rooms. Better if there was an elevator for those staying in the upper storeys. Love the breakfast. Better if more helpers rather than just the 1 person who was overwhelmed by the needs of everyone. Value for the money no equal. Was the best deal in our Italy tour

    Agerola was a small village that was used as a drop off...

    Agerola was a small village that was used as a drop off point by the hotel shuttle from where either a private or public bus could be caught to Amalfi on the coast. The were several cafes and restaurants around the place for a coffee whilst waiting for the bus. The area would be extremely attractive for hikers which we are not.

    A quiet and peaceful area with many possibilities and attractions. Excellent public transport connections. Close to beaches, mountain trails, picturesque towns and restaurants. Excellent hotel infrastructure. Various types of shops - from grocery stores to hiking equipment. Limited but free public parking. Scooters available for hire. Public laundries.

    We loved where we stayed.

    We loved where we stayed. Last year, we visited the Amalfi Coast which was beautiful. This year we went to Capri, which was amazing. The local shops were great and the people are very friendly and helpful. We ate locally or cooked and had a few favourite spots. It was easy to walk around where we stayed, for longer trips we had the rental car. We could ask our host for directions and tips on where to visit.

    The property itself is stunning.

    The property itself is stunning. It is nestled in a lovely country side area, with beautiful mountain views, and easy access to bus routes that get you across the Amalfi coast, but enable a quiet nights rest away from the super touristy spots. Breakfast is more than a typical Italian breakfast in quantity, and the hostesses are exceptionally attentive and helpful. There are amenities like laundry, groceries and local restaurants all within walking distance. We would definitely return.

    Unbelievable place and gem!! Francesca and her family were amazing, accomodating and helpful. The accomodation was super clean, tastefully decorated, with everything you need, breakfast was like a 5-star hotel, with it all set on a beautiful property. It’s a short 5min walk into town with great restaurants and 20min drive to the Amalfi coast.

    Beautiful family run hotel. Staff were lovely. Spectacular views over the sea. Bright, spacious and spotlessly clean rooms. Decor was great. Excellent value for money compared with other properties along the coast. A short walk into Agerola itself. The hotel were also offering free shuttles to Baccofurore restaurant (which was excellent).
