I stayed 3 nights in July 2023. The personnel was extremely kind, helpful, friendly. The quality of everything is exceptional: the comfort of the room, the comfort of the common resting area, the terrace, the breakfast, the coffee, the wine, the cheese, the fantastic view on the valley. This family loves to run the hotel and to accommodate travellers. They love their job, they love their region and like to tell you what makes this region special. I loved to stay there and was sad to leave. I will come back, that's for sure! And beside the hotel there is the wonderful restaurant Il Poggio with an excellent cuisine and served by a lovely staff. All this made my stay wonderful, relaxing and invigorating.

Beautifully appointed and charming rooms. Such a rural, authentic setting. The view of the alps from the rooftop terrace was stunning! The local bus to Sondrio ran on time and was a huge help in getting around.

    We booked this hotel as a stopover for 1 night travelling back from Italy to the UK. The hotel is quite large but in a small and quiet village on the hillside overlooking Sondrio town. The owner welcomed us directly and offered his garage for the motorbikes. He also ran the restaurant which was of a very high standard - the food and the service were excellent (actually the best we had during our whole stay in Italy) and the location in the very nice garden at the back of the hotel. Our twin room had aircon, most welcome given it was 38deg.

    When we arrived the service for lunch had started and without any problem an extra table was made ready for us, which was a really nice lunch. Because we were the only guests at the hotel that evening we got a special menu for dinner with hand picked mushrooms which was delicious. The room was spacious and the bed and pillows were great. Overall a very nice stay

    Cozy and clean hotel with nice view to Sondrio town and mountains in a quite place, hotel place is easy reachable by car from western end, parking in front of the hotel, very friendly staff and good communication, tasty and excellent breakfast. As it was very hot days in Italy so air conditioning was a must in the room.

    Breakfast was exclusive, very delicious, a lot of choice. Cheeses were very special. Location is very convinient, near the river promenade and trade center. Also the big picnic area between hotel and the river.
