Really enjoyed SpaghettiHaus for delicious pasta & pizza. Alla Lega for a fancier dinner. Bar BuonGusto, very close to the apartment was wonderful for my morning cappuccino & brioche, run by a very lovely family, also has other breakfast & meal options. As a climber - Arco is a 'fine' place to stay. Parking is a pain unless you have a space. Crags are relatively convenient but there are better places to visit in the EU than here. The town is great. Food is 'easy'. The BEST place is definitely -Ristorante Il Ritratto di Aldo Tiboni - GREAT FOOD and STAFF! Tons of climbing stores. Great public pool. Arco is a lovely town, on the river and quite near to Lake Garda. It has a beautiful square where there is often live music, with churches and some fine buildings. Plenty of restaurants and gelateria, and other shopping infrastructure. The castle on the hill is worth a visit - but wait until the weather is cooler, as it is quite a climb!! If you love mountains Arco is a paradise. Very nice and friendly town located in the heart of beautiful Alps. Great for outdoor enthusiasts, if you love hiking or cycling you will find it a great base, with the added benefit of many great outdoor equipement shops. The town is just big enough to offfer a lot of bars, restaurants, shops and services, yest small enough to forget about your car and just walk around.
