The setting at the edge of the water was beautiful. Our balcony, just a few meters from the lake. All the amenities in the room were there. What was really a stand out for us was the incredible staff, especially Jéssica, Stefano in the restaurant where we had very nice options available to us (BTW, he makes the best cappuccinos ever) and at the reception desk as well Orietta. We have already recommended Hoel Meridiana to others, and if we ever go back to Lake Como, we would not consider staying any other place!

Our 3 nights at Villa Rêverie were amazing. The rooms were modern, comfortable, well equipped, and the staff are all very helpful and kind. They were there to assist with any questions. On our first night, the hotel manager organised a transfer to their restaurant in Varenna, overlooking Lake Como. Definitely recommend doing this. The rooms were cleaned daily and turned down in the evening. The train station is about a 5 minute walk away which you need to get to for travel between different areas of lake Como, the ferry terminal and restaurants are another 5minute walk from there but all easily accessible. The staff were kind enough to lend us umbrellas as needed given it was raining the whole time. The breakfast was great and the waitress was lovely, she also served us drinks on the balcony overlooking the lake each night before dinner and it was 10/10 service.

Very convenient location, in Bellano, close to all attractions, but less crowded. Hotel right next to the train station, not far from the ferry station and the promenade - great! In addition, very nice owners, smiling, for breakfast they went to the bakery for warm brioche! There is everything in the room, good price-quality ratio

Absolutely amazing location, very close to station, amazing bakery next door as well as a well stocked supermarket, also it's close to a beautiful waterfall. This apartment really felt like home. All the detailed maps and information were available at the apartment, it had all modern amenities. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The view of the lake was outstanding and the apartment had everything you would need for a stay. We loved it here and wished we had booked for longer. The directions from the owner were friendly and easy to follow. Parking nearby meant we could see the car from the room so knew it was safe. Netflix and the large TV were handy also

A quiet place in a quiet town. Very close to the station, and no, you can't hear trains or the road. Located on a ground floor with a private entry, no staircases. A feeling you've got to an italian home and it's all for you. And of course, a very careful hostess. Thank you!

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Two brothers running the property seamless. This property also offers bikes to cycle around and there is also an opportunity to arrange a pick up from the station. Property is close to Bellano city Centre where you can have breakfast / lunch / dinner for reasonable prices. Thanks guys !

    Bellano is an amazing place to visit.

    Bellano is an amazing place to visit. Absolutely beautiful and so easy to get around on the ferry. Restaurants are close by aswell as supermarkets. TBH I could just sit and look out at the amazing views all day long!

    Pretty town, not too hilly like some of the villages. Beautiful lake front with wonderful views from various different spots on the lake. Only down side was that, not being one of the major villages, ferries were less frequent than we envisaged and when arriving at a larger village one had to immediately queue for ages for return tickets. So visitors need to allow for this and make sure they know the times and destinations of ferries in advance. We ate in a very pleasant restaurant on the lake front called Cavalla Bianco one night and visited the Orrido gorge which was stunning and with a fascinating history.

    I was pleasantly surprised with this little town.

    I was pleasantly surprised with this little town. Apart from the waterfront which is pretty and flowery, the little alleys going inside carry a medieval atmosphere with its unpainted corridors streets. The Gorge of Orrido is a must to visit and music to the ears with the rush of the water coming down the surface of the hill. Magic! Also it is a good place to stay to visit the upper side of the lake which is less touristic and still authentic.

    Beautiful place, easily accessible by train and ferry. Nicely located for easy access to bigger/more touristy places like Verenna and Bellagio, but away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely restaurants and hotels close by. Would highly recommend using as a base to see Lake Como and as a relaxing stay in itself.

    Small town, good choice of restaurants, bars & ice-cream shops. Passenger ferry useful to access main area, not a lot to see - but good for a base to explore rest of Lake Como, as not as busy/ touristy as other larger towns.

    We saw the best and worst of Bellano.

    We saw the best and worst of Bellano. We had torrential rain on day 1 that curtailed our sightseeing but the sun returned on day 2 and we saw the sights and had a swim in the lake. It has lots of nice places to eat or have a coffee. We didn't have time to use the ferry service which enables you to explore other lakeside towns. So we plan to return in the future.

    The appartment was cosy, clean, comfortable and reasonably well equipped. Good value for money and close to the ferry stop to explore more of lake como. We appreciated the air conditioning, the coffee machine and being able to cook our own meals with two big supermarkets nearby. Bellano was a lovely town outside of the busier areas of lake como but still easy to get to. The host was friendly and helpful, even turning the air con on remotely before we arrived. The self check in was flexible which was also appreciated. Thanks for a lovely stay!

    Perfect apartment in a perfect town. Paula and Dante are wonderful hosts. The apartment has panoramic views across Lake Como and is a short walk along the esplanade to the wonderful restaurants and cafes of charming Bellano, also the ferry wharf for easy sightseeing visits to nearby towns. The apartment is modern, well appointed, tranquil and spotlessly clean, plus it has secure on site parking. We highly recommend this wonderful property.

    Very clean and modern apartment, beds very comfy, had everything we needed for our stay. Communication from Ely (the host) was great, all queries answered promptly, she even let us know the locals were having a festival and that we’d be welcome to go along (which we did, it was great!) The balcony views are beautiful!! Bellano is a great place to stay, lots going on but quieter than the other big towns.

    Lovely, charming flat (top floor) at lake Como in beautiful Bellano village. In the flat you will find well equipped fridge (beer, vine all fair prices) coffee maker, fridge-freezer. Flat was nice and clean. Carpark, restaurant with delicious food, beach with bar, toilets, shops etc that’s all around you in short walking distance. If you are looking stay where you can have a proper rest it’s perfect.
