We recently stayed at Hotel Terme di Castel San Pietro and overall had a good experience. The staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, even allowing us to check-in late at night. We booked four rooms and while three of the rooms were great, one had a heavy smoking smell, which was unpleasant. We were too tired to request a change of room at the time, but it's possible that we could have avoided the issue if we had asked earlier. In general, we found the value for the money to be great.

It was perfect for what we wanted as a family of 3.

It was perfect for what we wanted as a family of 3. We were travelling from the north to the south and used it as an overnight stop. It was very rural and peaceful which we liked, and Emanuela was very helpful in arranging a table at the local Osteria. They have horses there and a very friendly dog called Missy, who was a great favourite with my daughter. If you want an overnight stop during your holiday I'd highly recommend it.

It was quiet, very beautiful, well lighted and noticeable at night. Getting around the area would have probably been better with a motor vehicle, but the bus terminal was across the street and it was groomed very nicely.

We would definitely stay there again if we were back in the area. Our host was exceptional!! Even had snacks for us when we arrived!! Sonia is the best! We had a car so we took day trips while there. But the train station is not far. Restaurants were also great for the typical food in that region.

The gated parking lot is spacious, the rooms are simple and comfortable. Breakfast is abundant, with plenty of choices from cakes, croissants, eggs & bacon, salami, cornflakes and various jams. Plenty of room in the lounge and breakfast area, very clean and quiet, perfect for people that travel for work. The hotel is in a quiet area, with a nice view of the local park, with a nice lake. Overall it's a relaxing experience.

The room was spotless and well-equipped, with no flaws or malfunctions. You can truly feel the heart and budget invested in the renovation of this place. For us, Bologna felt a bit too loud and crowded, but Castel San Pietro Terme was a perfect choice — cosy, with a charming old town and plenty of places for delicious local food. The most awesome information about this lovely hotel was knowing that Ayrton Senna used to stay there during the F1 Grand Prix in Imola and spent his last night alive there. There is the most amazing glass cabinet set up in the foyer as a tribute to him. Breakfast was a delight with a huge variety of delicious treats on offer. The bed was one of the most comfortable and luxious we have slept on.
