Lots of innovative dishes and great use of local ingredients Location is beautiful and peaceful. Hotel is very well presented and maintained. Pool area is well equipped and attractive, a lovely area to relax in. The standard of housekeeping is is excellent, the room was always well serviced and a pleasure to come back to. It was generally a nice place to stay but although the hotel is in beautiful countryside the local town is half deserted, apparently due to structural issues. Nonetheless fascinating to walk around.
