We absolutely loved Hotel Corte Altavilla as well as Conversano, the hotel was immaculately clean and the rooms were very large and spacious. The staff were excellent and breakfast was great served on the roof top terrace. There are 2 terrific restaurants in Conversano worth going to; Vita Pugliese and Il Giullare near the castle (try book in advance). Conversano is a great base for day trips including beach days (Torre Canne), visits to Polignano Al Mare , Mattera etc. Also worth doing a boat trip to the caves/grottos from San Vito which is 15 minutes away, we absolutely loved that. We'd highly recommend Hotel Corte Altavilla!

Nice house & garden, combeniently located close to seaside resorts. No walking distance restaurants but good and cheap food in enarby Conversano. Amita did everything to make us feel at home, including taking care of an abandoned stray baby cat we found in the road.

Our stay at Casa Mia in Puglia was EXCELLENT!! The property is picturesque, calm and relaxing. The hosts are there to greet you with a personal tour of the property and they really make you feel like you are part of their family. They prepare a delicious breakfast every morning and service with a smile. The landscaping is exquisite and the pool is a little sanctuary of relaxation. If I could rate this higher than 10, I would. We will be returning!!!

Elementa is a very nice B&B hosted by Stefano, an extremely helpful owner who prepares a fantastic breakfast in the morning. Free parking is available on the street just next to the B&B, so it's very convenient. The Old Town of Conversano is a two minute walk away from the B&B and Conversano itself is an excellent alternative to Polignano a Mare. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We came for our 10 year anniversary. The hosts had prepared for us a bottle of champagne! Hosts helped find restaurants, shops and other contacts, also brought fresh fruit and gave me their umbrella when it was raining. Also the coffee and croissants for breakfast were amazing! Conversano is a beautiful quiet clean town.

    Lovely typical authentic Italian town with interesting Centro Storico with its good range of cafes, restaurants and historical sights. No Sky Sports bars, Irish pubs or Sunday Roast Beef dinners (thankfully) ! Very family friendly and a good base to explore the wider area. Definitely not a tourist trap - mostly locals

    In need of some serious cleaning and updating.

    In need of some serious cleaning and updating. We found the place tired and rundown. We weren’t told about it operating as a wedding and function venue and on our first night loud music went on until very late. Not a peaceful farm stay.

    The only downside to this stay was that we had to come home!

    The only downside to this stay was that we had to come home! Francesco and his family at Terra Terra were so unbelievably lovely, he gave some wonderful recommendations for places to visit and eat, as well as making bookings for us. The breakfast was delicious, the location is beautiful and peaceful, I can't wait to visit again. Francesco was also so helpful, as our car rental fell through and he was able to help us get this sorted, it honestly was one of our favourite stays ever and we can't recommend Terra Terra enough. It is close to Conversano, which is a lovely town with amazing food. Our favourite restaurants from the stay were Il Giullare and Vita Pugliese (both recommended by our wonderful host!)

    Lovely town and we had a great time exploring all the nooks and crannies. some really lovely restaurants too. To name but a few: II Giullare; Pizzeria Terrarossa; Tie Osteria Gintoneria All lovely and very reasonably priced. Parking is a challenge. Good bus service to Bari ( 5 euro return)

    It is a beautiful town in rural Puglia, small with a stunning cathedral and ancient castle fort. It also has an interesting monastery and art school. Its history dates back to the 6th C BC . Beautiful for a day stay, lovely at night when most the locals enjoy the many excellent restaurants in the many open spaces.

    Lovely quiet town with a charming centro storico. Very friendly, variety of restaurant choices. It's a little cooler and breezier than the coastal towns, which makes it a nice place to cool down in the summer. There is a castle, nice museums, good shops, and definitely hit up della Corte for a perfect cappuccino, or a nice pranzo. Public transit is by bus only right now - 15 minutes from Polignano a Mare. They started upgrading the train tracks in early part of COVID lockdown - locals anticipate it taking years to be active again. Great people watching at Piazza Castello, and do walk the park at Villa Giuseppe Garibaldi.

    Excellent Location - you need a car though. Breakfast tickets were nice bonus, we liked the service and quality of the croissant + coffee. Communication with Raquel was excellent, language barrier fixed with google translate through whatsapp :-). The swimming pool is very nice. The bungalow has excellent airconditioning, the idea (in my view) is that it is there to shower and to sleep - you eat outside in restaurants in Italy ! Also, I had to work and the WiFi is excellent (broadband speed).

    The room is very clean and impressed us from the first moment we entered. The bathroom was spacious and had two sinks so this made it very easy for us. The accommodation has breakfast with a partner cafe within walking distance. The best of all was that there was a place to leave the car safely and we didn't worry at all. As a highlight I would put the incredible communication from the first moment with her, very polite, direct and willing to give me information for our best stay.

    I loved every single thing at PARCO DEI MANIERI. The members of staff are friendly and attentive. The beds are comfy, and rooms are spotless clean. The outdoor area is surreal and unbelievably well looked after. Finally, the breakfast was awesome, and lunch was the best one we had in Puglia - delicious. Absolutely nothing to complain about. We will definitely be back! Thank you ever so much for each of you.

    Everything was perfect! Mirella gave us such a warm welcome and shared plenty of helpful information about Puglia. She was truly an exceptional hostess. The apartment was super clean and beautifully decorated. We also loved the breakfast she prepared for us—it came in a charming basket and was filled with delicious treats.

    The villa was perfect, absolutely spotless, well maintained and perfectly equipped. The host was very kind and welcoming. The villa is set in its own gardens and very tranquil. Conversano old town is lovely and walkable, it's a great base to tour Puglia by car.
