One of the very best places we stayed in Italy. Great host, friendly and helpful, beautiful room, bathroom and linen. Breakfast was a feast, lovingly prepared with some lovely background music. Great restaurants close by. We found it very convenient to visit Milano from - either drive or take the train. We very sincerely recommend this place as it exceeded our expectations in every way. What a view! We got a room with a balcony and a view to the lake and it was worth it! The hotel was nice and tidy, the staff was very friendly and the food was amazing, obviously made with quality products. And the view from the restaurant could not be better. There was a terrace and a pool, both with a view to the lake, free parking.

A lovely hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpful. There were wonderful views from our balcony overlooking Lago di Maggiore and the high mountains beyond. The food in the restaurant was first class as it was in the the Bistrot Imbarcado, which the hotel also runs, and where the seating is alongside the lake. A good ferry service from Porto Valtravaglia makes it easy to visit Stresa, the Borromeo Islands and market day in Luino. We will certainly be back!
