Thanks to the whole team, especially Sofia and her new colleague did an amazing job! The hotel is very comfortable and directly on the lake. Restaurants are close by. Bicycles are available to rent for free - we had a pleasant stay and come back! 😊

We totally loved our 3 day-and-a-half stay at this hotel. Situated in Rivoltella, half way between Desenzano and Sirmione, was far enough from the busy areas, but close enough to reach them either by bus (we didn't have a car) or walking along the beautiful promenade on the shore of the lake (reachable in 2 min, down a little street just across from the hotel). We walked the distance to Desenzano in 30 min., for example. Everything looks like described, all very clean, good water pressure in the shower. There is enough room around the pool and the jacuzzi& the top terrace (no need to run from breakfast to occupy pool beds). The covered pool was great for us because of the right temperature (not too warm, not too cold), but also because it is 120 cm deep, which meant we could relax a little, allow our 9 year old to spend the whole day in there while we could actually concentrate on our books without feeling the need to watch him constantly. The buffet breakfast was plentiful, varied (boiled eggs, omelette, bacon, salami, cheese, fresh croissants and cakes, yogurt, various seeds, cereal, cut up fresh fruit), some plant-based options, good enough coffee, juice. Our room had a small balcony, enough for us to sit outside at the table and play cards or just enjoy the greenery around. We had lunch twice - simple but tasty sandwiches & caprese, and dinner once - they have a limited menu, but quite tasty and reasonably priced. But the thing we appreciated most was the staff, very warm and helpful, in a natural way. We felt that they all wanted us to relax and rest. There is a very good atmosphere in this hotel.

A wonderful place. Everything that is said in praise of this hotel is true. We particularly loved the pool in the garden, but the other pool, the restaurant and our room were also very, very good. The staff is wonderful, they really make an effort for you to have the best experience in Desenzano and Lake Garda. We will be back:)

I liked the staff kindness, from the women at the reception to the waiters. The room was superb and clean, and the terrace in front of the lake was exceptional. The location was also good. You can go for a nice walk, and you can also find places to have something. I strongly recommend the sunset... Finally, the breakfast buffet was tasty and varied. Therefore, it is a fully recommended hotel.

    Really easy to get to from Verona airport.

    Really easy to get to from Verona airport. Beautiful views of the Lake and quick to get to Sirmione which is stunning but can get really busy with tourists. Desenzano town is lovely, lots of eateries, pretty streets, friendly people and beautiful views. The market on a Tuesday was really good, nice to walk around. Many things eg the castle etc are closed on a Monday. I was there 2.5 days which felt enough for me. This included a day in Sirmione. I explored the main sites and then spent a day in Verona on the way home, well worth a day trip or visit.

    Fantastic location on the lake as close to all travel links...

    Fantastic location on the lake as close to all travel links and amenities. The ferries are central and run regular to other parts of the lake, the train station is not too far away and great for trips to Verona etc. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and events keep appearing on the weekends.

    Desenzano is a great choice if you are looking to explore Lake Garda. Its a quieter, smaller town (less tourisy if you like) then some others around the lake, which is something we appreciated. Lots of restaurants and scenic spots. Also has larger supermarkets, shopping malls etc nearby. Beach was ok, pebbly and rocky, but water was very clean. Unfortunately the beach had a wasp problem, but most people didnt seem to mind.

    Most of the restaurants are over priced and too touristy, especially round the port and main church square. We eventually found Osteria Vinoste, Via Roma, which is opposite the lido beach but you have to book in advance... lovely place and staff and we went back. There are some good other ones but we had only a few days. The lack of cash machines was disappointing, make sure to bring euros cash here (Boats, ice cream etc). None of the local buses were on time and we had to take a taxi each time to go to the train station as it's too far to walk with luggage... very unreliable especially the small city buses ;(( The trains however are very good everywhere. I recommend spending time in the Tourist Info inside the station as they have local maps and timetables and were very helpful ! there is an area arounf the Castle which did look very different, quieter with local restos, def. would stay there next time! And you can walk to the station !

    It really was an R&R stop as we were hiking the MTB and moving onto the Dolomites. It wasn’t really our type of place, the little towns up the coast were pleasant, unfortunately as said they were not our scene .. so can’t really comment for others ..

    A centrally located resort on the lake.

    A centrally located resort on the lake. Lots of parking, loads of restaurants, we had super meals at Animo pizza and La Brasserie 15. Highly recommend hiring a boat with dolphin boats and going out on the lake - 3 hours was just about enough time. Absolutely huge market on Tuesday morning. Central location to visit towns either side of the lake. Much preferred Desenzano to the much busier and more touristy resorts of garda and bardolino.

    First of all, the staff was incredibly nice, helpful, and kind. They truly made our stay feel special, thank you so much! We had a lake view room, and although the doors kept out most of the street noise, we brought earplugs just in case. The mattress and pillows were so comfortable that we slept wonderfully. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’ll happily choose Hotel Vittorio anytime we’re in Desenzano. The location is perfect and so close to everything.

    Very nice well located hotel, with clean rooms and excellent facilities. The beds are very comfortable. Communication for access and during the stay was very clear, with Martina being very easy to reach. The staff were very helpful and accommodating when we arrived a few hours early, getting our rooms ready early. The property is a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Desenzano, and 20 minutes from the train station.

    A clean and comfortable room. The hotel is well located close to bar and restaurants. An 8 minute walk from the ferries and 15 minutes to the train station. Lovely coffee, croissant and juice for breakfast. Perfect for our one night stay in Desenzano
