This is a little piece of heaven in Tuscany. An immaculate one bedroom (plus sofabed in the lounge) apartment with every conceivable element well thought out and provided. The views were spectacular from our own terrace, we BBQ'd twice using the provided brick built BBQ on the terrace. We went out of season (February) and were fortunate to share the whole enormous grounds with just a few other couples. It was so peaceful and quiet. The location is perfect for a quick trip into Siena or Firenze and I would imagine that in the summer the small bars and restaurants of Fiano and Marciella are bursting with activity. We enjoyed a morning of Chianti wine and olive oil tasting at Villa del Pozzo a few minutes drive away and that was something quite special indeed! Donato the host was remarkable and our private tasting was educational, theatrical and fascinating in equal measure - a highly recommended excursion if you can tear yourself away from the beauty of Podere Mezzostrada for half a day! Rarely does a holiday destination immediately exceed your expectations quite so quickly - we are delighted to have discovered this hidden gem and I know that my wife and I will return. 10/10 from us - book with total confidence. 2 adult travellers aged 58 and 55. British but living in France since 2018.

The hotel is very nice, with friendly people and good service providers; they pay attention to small details, the room is clean and pleasant. A quiet place that provides an atmosphere for a quiet and relaxing vacation. The food is good for breakfast and dinner. We stayed in a room with two bedrooms, where three children slept in one room without any problems, and the second room was for the parents

Got to see this beautiful hilltop town in the evening and early morning before the other Tourists showed up. Staff were wonderful. Room was spotless.... And a great breakfast to start the day. Can't recommend this place highly enough

All the details were well taken care of. Excellent service and stuff. Amazing view and overall great place to relax, unwind and enjoy the Tuscan scenery and food in luxury (the Michelin star restaurant within the hotel was amazing)

    Excellent place to stay and enjoy the Chianti area with family. The kids loved the playground and the gardens. Lovely dinners in the garden and walks among nature, absolutely fantastic time we have, very comfortable bed and nice hot shower, house was cosy and the kids didn’t not want to leave the hotel cause was wonderful to run around and explore.
