The entire place was perfect, updated but still felt historical. The rooms were updated and cozy but simple and modern. The view was stunning. Domingo Cabrera was a wonderful man who took care of us and went above and beyond to make our trip the best. Would stay again!

Grace was a wonderful host. Il Viaio is a cute, charming, calm and peaceful spot. There is a wineyard nearby (5 min walk) which is nice as well. Breakfast were soooooo good as well !

Was met at the door and shown the apartment, very easy and pleasant. The place is excellent for a multi night stay, very comfortable. Did not expect it to be so nice. kitchen was perfect and clothes washer was greatly needed. Came into the area for MotoGP in Mugella. Really appreciate being in a village away from the crowds but close enough to enjoy the journey. Thank you!

Our stay at Cozy Apartment 1 was a delightful and relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of Florence. The convenient parking and excellent location made our visit even more enjoyable. Fiesole is a charming town with superb restaurants, and the apartment truly felt like a home away from home. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and always prompt to respond and assist.

    Fiesole has many sites to explore with its fantastic amphitheatre, monastery and cathedral. It has some excellent restaurants and local shops. We loved the Snooty Fox with its delicious authentic Italian food, Terrazza with its roof terrace with amazing views over Florence, Pizzeria Buca delle Fate, Ristorante BISTROT AL 5. Anyone who likes hiking in between city visits, will find some beautiful nature walks.

    Fiesole is a must for visitors to Tuscany.

    Fiesole is a must for visitors to Tuscany. This small hill top town is a peaceful place to stay outside Firenze. The best restaurant is Has an outdoor terrace it’s on the right as you arrive into the piazza. The hotel we stayed at was FH55 villa Fiesole. I highly recommend this hotel.

    Fiesole is a small, peaceful town just above Florence, where you can take in incredible views of the city and the rolling Tuscan hills. It’s the kind of place where time slows down—a quiet walk, a coffee in a sunny piazza, ancient ruins tucked between trees. The local museum, right next to a Roman amphitheater and Etruscan remains, is small but full of character—just enough to give you a sense of how deep the history runs here. It feels local, lived-in, and just far enough from the crowds to breathe.

    The countryside of Fiesole is beautiful.

    The countryside of Fiesole is beautiful. Hotel and needs updating. Some damp on walls in bedroom, a/c has to be climatized by reception and is on a timer. Windows in bedroom too high to get so unable to open them. We had to sleep with our main bedroom door open one night as it was hot and stuffy. Pool area was lovely, despite no bar anywhere nearby you have to walk up to main building to get drinks or snacks which have to be paid then. Basically no tab!! Only positive thing was the fish restaurant up the road, highly recommend this it was a fantastic meal!! We booked this hotel as a pit stop as we were heading down south from Croatia. Didn’t realise it was a 2* and definitely not 2* prices. Way overpriced if so. Expected something much better for the proscenium we paid.

    Fiesole is a picturesque town within the hills of Tuscany, it has excellent transport links to the city of Florence, and hiking routes for those that love walking. There are good restaurants, although we found getting a taxi back to our hotel in the evening sometimes a problem. Despite restaurant staff trying to call for us. The view point with views over Florence is spectacular.

    The purpose our visit to Fiesole was to celebrate our friend's birthday whom we had not seen for years. We had never heard of Fiesole, but they were staying there for a 3 week holiday (from Canada) and so we joined them with zero expectations. Fiesole was absolutely lovely, and frankly two days was not enough. We ate very well at local restaurants and visited the lovely Franciscan monastery on top of the hill, which is well worth a look. An incredible museum with Chinese coins dating back to the 100AC (!) and an Egyptian mummified kitten amongst other extremely old antiquities! Was not expecting that LOL! View of Florence is spectacular from Fiesole, and to think you are in a small little quiet 'village' just 20 mins drive away.

    The location of Fiesole is beautiful. ( we actually got very lucky as booking.com let us down on the day we were arriving!! So we sorted our own out on the train from Milan to Florence ) I was initially disappointed not to be nearer Florence ( as originally planned), however, it was very easy to get the bus into Florence. We ate both nights at a restaurant in the town - which was lovely. Self service breakfast at the hotel on the terrace was also lovely. Staff also sorted us out with extra pillows as soon as we requested them.

    Very cute little BnB in the wonderful Fiesole in the hills outside Florence. Great breakfast with lots of local food from the area. Very nice staff. Was our second stay and we enjoyed it both times. You can reach Florence easily by bus but you should take some time to see Fiesole, too ;-)
