Gallipoli Town is charming and full of character. The historic center is lovely to explore on foot, with narrow streets, vibrant markets, and beautiful architecture. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants serving fresh seafood, and the views of the sea are stunning. Gallipoli is really beautiful.
Gallipoli is really beautiful. There is the old town which is very touristy. It is nice to walk around, buy souvenirs or get lunch/dinner. The beach is nice but crowded. Outside of the old town (on other side of the bridge), there are more locals and the prices are cheaper for lunch/dinner/drinks. There is a long avenue with nice shops and places to eat. I stayed in the old town (5-minute walk from the beach) and it was perfect. The only annoying thing is that taxis cannot enter the old town. It was difficult to bring our suitcases from the train station up into the old town. It was a 20-minute walk in very hot weather. When leaving Gallipoli, we ordered a taxi but the taxi can only come as far as the bridge, so we still had to walk for 10 minutes with our cases. This was difficult in the heat with cobblestones and small paths or streets. Gallipoli is very walkable and easy to get around. It is nice to do a walk along the seafront at night and there are lots of nice bars and restaurants.Guest review byEdieKKIreland - 10

Amazing city, the only problem is Car parking space, if you want to stay in the historic center, this is the place as it is close to everything. The host was very polite and help us with very nice tips.
