Where Our Lady was born, educated, received the Annunciation and conceived Jesus by means of the Holly Spirit. The history and archeological studies are mesmerizing! Despite the crowds around the sanctuary outside, inside this place of worship is peaceful and indeed most suitable for a quiet moment and prayer. The Virgin Mary's holy 'residence' within the sanctuary is indeed awesome, outside and even more so inside. Not to be missed. LORETO IS BEAUTIFUL, THE BEACH ISN'T TOO FAR AWAY- SUCH A PEACEFUL, RELAXING LOCATION- THE POLISH ARMY CEMETARY IS VERY CLOSE TO THE BASILICA, WHERE OVER 1000 HEROES ARE BURIED.
