While we walked a bit around the town, and bought some lovely souvenirs from a local shop, we did not have enough time to see the beach, take a hike, or use the local bus to see other parts of the island. Great little village with lots of delicious restaurants ad shops and galleries. Lots of fruit trees and a really cute beach (Spiaggia dello Scario). The village has a small supermarket, and has very good access to the rest of the island via the bus system, or by hiring a car or scooter at the various hire companies in the village.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
We could have stayed in Malfa for at least a month!
We could have stayed in Malfa for at least a month! It was a quiet, peaceful town, with a small main street with a handful of shops, and maybe three restaurants, and more of a takeout cafe. We had excellent, leisurely meals at two of the restaurants, and really enjoyed the staff at both. We walked down to the beach one day, and loved it, but it was otherwise a lazy few days in a spectacularly beautiful place with very pleasant people. A delicious breakfast, excellent aperitivo, stunning views from the pool, and so many nice, quiet places to rest and relax throughout the property. Salina and Hotel Ravesi were the absolute highlight of our honeymoon in Sicily. We would definitely recommend renting an e-bike from this hotel to explore the island. Paolo was an excellent host, sending a transfer to meet us from the ferry, sharing lots of recommendations for tours and places to visit and helping us to organise taxis and a rental car.
