We stayed in Maranello quaint town but with Huge history went to Ferrari museum which was great you see the fabulous cars and the simulators were a big hit can also.book factory tour and track tour. Really.lovely thing is when there's a Grand Prix on the Enzo Ferrari audotorium in the town centre shows it for free on a 1st come.till it's full basis this was great the excitement and enthusiasm of the locals, workers at the factory and the die hard tofoso. If you are passioned about Ferrari, there is a lot of activities you can do. Allways good to go back to Galleria Ferrari. Don't forget to eat a pizza (and mascarpone) in the pizzeria next to Hotel Domus. Maranello is a place which I visit for more than 35 years, it goes from father to son ;-) This year we both visit the Formula 1 Grandprix in Imola and off course we had to stop in Maranello. Generally one reason why you visit Maranello and that is to experience the iconic world of Ferrari. Do the museum tour, do the factory tour and eat at Ristorante Cavallino, for those that understand, it becomes quite nostalgic, and at times emotional and you feel Enzo's passion. The theme of the hotel, so exited for the kids even adults. Room was clean, more than enough supply of toiletries in the bathroom. Extra towels too. Staff was very nice and friendly. The only downside If you want to have dinner you have to have a car to drive around. The restaurant in the hotel was not exquisite cuisine…more like fast food. It’s a beautiful old villa with painted ceilings! Great breakfast prepared by the staff and spacious room for a family of four. Enzo, the owner is the great! He booked for us a perfect restaurant at la Contea di Montale and found a small gift for my son (birthday boy) on the fly which was a great surprise. It has kitchenette but as the rooms are rather small it is not too comfortable to use. But the hotel has really good breakfasts so not a big problem.
