A family friendly, safe beach resort with lovely restaurants, a lovely marina and a great prom to walk on. The square behind the beach is a great meeting place for all. The best place to eat was the hotel Miramare which has a great selection of pizzas, fish dishes and quality red Sicilian wine. Great service too. There's a lovely wee circular bar on the promenade which gets busy at the weekends. It's all within walking distance but it's easier to get to the bigger supermarkets by car. The location couldn’t have been better,just a 1-minute walk from the port, with everything within easy reach. The apartment was spotless, fully equipped and very comfortable. What really made our stay special was the warm hospitality of our host, Stefania. She went out of her way to meet us at the port upon arrival and even brought us delicious croissants and granita to welcome us, such a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. You need a car to get around to the shops and Marina di Ragusa town centre. The host was friendly and helpful. Kids enjoyed playing with cats that walked around the building.
