Fantastic location central to visut this area of Tuscany. There are wonderful views from terrace. Good local restaurant and another in the next village with lovely panorama of the countryside. Martina was an excellent host, very helpful. The facilities are great basic but all you need and the swimming pool so clean and very quiet.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The agriturismo is even more beautiful than the photos show: the grounds and apartments are immaculately kept, the pools and playground perfect for kids as well as the adults and the apartments spacious and clean. Super close to the town (3 mins by car) and the supermarket and easy access - we’ll be back!

The apartment is very cosy, with plenty of room to leave your stuff around. What we absolutely loved was the tranquillity of the location. I slept like I had anesthesia 😃 Even our kids, who are poor sleepers, slept so well here! The location itself is amazing - manageable distance to all major tourist places, larger town (Castelfiorentino) about 20 minutes away and from there you may take a train to major cities and towns (Florence, Siena...). Lovely neighbours in the condominium. Stunning nature all around - plenty of room for the kids to run around and have fun, a decent swimming pool, and a good tennis court with spectacular views over the Chianti hills. WiFi, stove, TV, heating - all works well. We absolutely loved our stay there, and we plan to come back (possibly in the summertime to enjoy the pool with gorgeous views ). This property is definitely a great value for money!

Everything was beautifull. View, terrace , comfortable beds , contents. Nature all around you and realy nice place for vacation. From this position you are 30-60minutes to all other minor beautifull cities but also Florence . I reccomend this accommodation for someone who came to explore tuscany and its' beauty .

    This is a great starting point to other towns and cities in Tuscany. We went to Florence, Greve in Chianti, Lucca, San Gimignano, Volterra and Lari. Montaione is a great base and has some nice restaurants around as well.

    Beautiful little town in the Tuscan hills ... beautiful, quiet and peaceful - yet not to far away from places like Lucca, Florence, San Gimignano or Volterra. Some very goods restaurants either in town or a couple of minutes away.

    It’s so authentic not many tourists and the scenery is...

    It’s so authentic not many tourists and the scenery is breathtaking. It’s a quiet area but so easy to get to all the sites within an hour tops from any direction, the roads are safe and easy access to the highway. The village has a supermarket, a handful of restaurants a couple of bars a quant square with cobbled paths.

    The place is gorgeous with plenty of lovely scenery that enhance relaxation. The apartment is clean with all the necessary amenities. The people, Martina and AnnaMaria are extremely helpful and always ready to help when the need arises. Though quiet and surrounded by forests and mountains you are so close to places of interests Tuscany is renowned for. You can be in the hustle and bustle of busy cities like Florence and in an hours time near the pools busking in the sunshine. Great place.

    Motaione lies perfectly in the heart of Tuscany with a small...

    Motaione lies perfectly in the heart of Tuscany with a small but really nice old town center. It's on top of a hill with a beautiful view all around. Unfortunately, if you go for hiking it's always very steep up or steep down - the same goes, if you rent a regular bicycle. But there is a really good mountain bike rental possibility: http://www.landhill.it/landhill-de/ in the center of Montaione. We paid 45E per E-bike and day. It's really worth to explore the region on the small roads by E-bike :-) There is a supermarked (COOP) in the center and a nice pastry shop.

    We stayed at Calanchi in 2019 and always said we would return. We love the rural location, it is so quiet and peaceful with more bird and animal life than nearer town. The pool is beautiful and has glorious views. Easy drive to Montaione for the supermarket and restaurants. It has ample parking , air conditioning, and Lovely outdoor seating on the balcony. Check in and check out are problem free. Alessandro was more than helpful. We have had two exceptional family holidays here, it's a special place, we loved our second visit.

    We had a wonderful stay in Montaione, and a huge part of that was thanks to Laura, who was an absolutely amazing host. She was kind, attentive, and always available whenever we needed anything. From helpful local tips to making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay, Laura went above and beyond. The property itself was beautiful and peaceful—perfect for enjoying the Tuscan countryside. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxing and authentic experience in Tuscany!

    location is very secluded, views for miles from the pool. We had an upstairs room in the converted farm house with exposed wooden beams and it was extremely clean. Hotel grounds were kept immaculate, with lots of wild life and flowers and trees. The food at the hotel is 5* all cooked from scratch, and reasonably priced with a great wine selection and a wine pairing available for a four course meal for only 15 euros. The pictures and description dont do the hotel justice

    The location on top of the small town Montaione with beautiful view to Toscana through the room window and from the garden terrace where you can enjoy breakfast or dinner. The staff was very friendly and they gave me a bottle of their red wine upon check-out as a gift.
