Extremely clean. Very spacious room. Giovanna and her husband were super friendly, welcoming hosts. The local restaurant was fully booked so Giovanna was kind enough to drive us to the next town where we ate a lovely dinner and then she came to pick us up when we were done! She also did some of our laundry for us at no extra cost. Breakfast was simple but fresh and filling. The house is in a beautiful location with gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside.

This is a great accommodation option, set in the lovely mountains, on the Via Degli Dei and the German Gothic Line of World War 2. It is 5 kms from the train station at Vado, and 4kms from Monzuno. There are buses to both towns. For an inexpensive hot meal (takeaway) option, I would strongly recommend Sonia next door. You will need to book ahead and the host's will give you contact numbers. I tried all 3 accommodations at the residence - tent, bungalow, and apartment -, and they were all cozy and inexpensive. The host couple are most hospitable and helpful. Great value! Really exceeded our expectations! the hotel should really update their pictures because it was even nicer than shown on the pictures (which actually never ever happens).. ;) would recommend it to everybody looking for a nice accommodations near Bologna or Florence! (if you come by car)

    A lovely, bright, modern property in Monzuno ideally located for the Via Degli Dei! The owner (apologies I have forgotten his name) was extremely friendly and helpful providing a free drink at the end of a long hot day, and further drinks at prices much cheaper than a cafe or bar! The restaurant directly opposite the property didn't look too impressive from the outside, but it provided some of the best food I ate all trip! Highly recommended, as is this accommodation!

    After a long hard day on the Via Vegli Dei it was just what we needed. Lovely old farmhouse and staff were super friendly and went the extra mile to help us out. Delicious meal. The property is about a 45min walk from Monzuno itself (all uphill) but they do offer a shuttle service

    Great hospitality. Me and my friend were walking Via degli dei and they came with a car to pick us up in Monzuno, made a reservation and took us to a restaurant and back. Very appreciated after a long day of walking. Very clean and comfortable, great breakfast!
