The location was perfect, allowing us to walk around and explore big parts of the city - the old town and moving all the way to Via Partenope. The hotel staff were so friendly and the room was amazing for a family of four! Breakfast was also so good and we enjoyed our coffee afterwards in the piano room :)

I really liked everything about Sanfelice 33. Location was excellent, close to port, close to shopping, close to station and especially close to nice restaurants. Stefano was indeed very friendly and very helpful; he even booked us a taxi on our way back. I would strongly recommend this place for business and for leisure. Will definitely stay again in Sanfelice 33 on our next trip to Naples.

I had a fantastic experience booking my hotel stay in Naples through this platform. The entire process was smooth, and the hotel exceeded my expectations. I want to express my utmost appreciation for the outstanding service provided by the staff, particularly Arcangelo, Stephany, and Matteo. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Arcangelo, Stephany, and Matteo greeted me warmly and made me feel welcome. They were extremely knowledgeable about the city and offered invaluable tips on must-visit attractions and hidden gems in Naples. Their restaurant recommendations were spot-on, and I enjoyed some of the most amazing meals thanks to their suggestions. I was also impressed by the staff's responsiveness. Whether it was addressing my queries or fulfilling any requests I had, they always responded promptly and with genuine care. It made me feel valued as a guest and added to the overall positive experience. But what truly stood out was their unwavering friendliness. Arcangelo, Stephany, and Matteo consistently wore smiles on their faces and treated everyone with warmth and respect. Their positive energy was infectious and created a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. I highly recommend this booking portal for anyone looking to have an exceptional hotel experience in Naples. The staff, especially Arcangelo, Stephany, and Matteo, truly made a difference with their superb assistance, rapid responsiveness, and friendly demeanor. I cannot thank them enough for their contributions to making my stay memorable. Thank you once again for providing such excellent service, and I look forward to booking through your platform in the future.

Gianluca is a classy guy and he runs a very classy operation. Every detail has been thought over, the rooms are comfortable, well maintained and very well hosted. The location is truly the most central, next to Duomo metro and near the old town. Overall, this place is a "must visit", you will learn a lot about Napoli from Gianluca, he will set up a customised tour for you. There's no thinking, just go and stay with him and thank me later.

FAQs about hotels in Naples

Vibrancy, Vespas, Vesuvius

Undulating beside the Bay of Naples, this UNESCO World Heritage city is a maze of narrow streets and funicular railways. Although it has an incredible array of churches and monuments, it’s the sheer energy, pulsating life, and buzz of Vespas that really make it exciting.

At first you could mistake this for chaos, but given time you’ll see there’s method to the madness. The stunning, curved portico of the Royal Palace. The perfectly thin pizzas which originated here. The red pepper trinkets to ward off the evil eye adorning practically every old town doorway. All are crafted to perfection.

While all this goes on at street level, below is Underground Naples – a series of visitable tunnels and even a Graeco-Roman theatre which you stop at before emerging into someone’s house!

Head up to the Posillipo area for stunning views of the city and Vesuvius in the distance. The volcano itself can be visited and looking down from it towards Pompeii and Herculaneum gives context to the thousands of artefacts now on display in the city’s National Archaeological Museum.

As for accommodation, Booking.com has a wealth of hotels near Naples Airport, old town B&Bs, city centre apartments and more to help you make the most of your stay.

Although it is crowded in the central areas, Naples makes seems as if you have stumbled into a party you did not know was taking place. We made sure to keep valuables in our front pockets, we never felt in danger. There are endless things to discover. We regret not going to the art museum in Via Toledo where a Caravaggio is an permanent display. We had planned to go after a visit to the Napoli Sotteranea, but were too tired to approach it. Naples is a little gritty, but the central, historic center goes back 2,500 years, and one must make allowances for the crowded condition. Food is out of the world, and I'd like to recommend a place called 'O Cuzzetiello for lunch on the go. Great value and so good. If you are a coffee drinker get ready for caffeine overload. Of course, you cannot have a bad pizza in this town. A pizza that pre-dates Colombus is pizza fritta, dough filled with ricotta and fried. No tomatoes. Enjoy.

Naples is a vibrant city with lots of places of interest. The food is excellent specially the Pizza Margherita + Limoncello and were well prized. Favorite place to visit was Capri and Ana Capri, the day tour + Blue Grotto + Private boat ride was the highlight for us. The hop on and off bus ride was a good way of familiarizing the layout of the city. Guided tour to Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius was also interesting and challenging. There are a lot of people so having someone guide you is the most convenient way of looking around places of interest. The place I did not enjoy visiting was the Amalfi coasts and Sorrento - too much traffic and too crowded and too pricy that it lost it's sparkle for me. I feel that the amount of tourist visiting there should be regulated as the roads and infrastructure is unable to cope .

I was not prepared for this :\ City is very chaotic and overall feels unsafe for a parent traveling alone with a kid. Streets in city center are too claustrophobic, stinky and overcrowded. Whole city is filled with litter, homeless people and it is very ethnicly diverse. We've spend one night in the accommodation near the train station and decided to move to Chiaia which feels a bit safer. There was one park for kids, but it was closed and unaccssesable. Beach in Chiaia was clean enough and provided us with some nice memories and good time :) Trafiic is insane, people drive on red light, they ignore pedestrians, taxi drivers almost always use phones while driving. We've come for the Pompeii and Volcano and that experience delivered! It was an amazing day trip :)

This place is a true gem that makes you fall in love with Italy even more. It is not a hotel in the proper sense of the word - it’s your very warm and welcoming home in Naples. Inès, and her hard working team of Gheehan and Ravi make you feel like a long-awaited guest. And the studio of Vincenzo! A true cave of wonders. Loved every moment there and will be returning again and again.

There was a choice of a savoury or sweet breakfast which was great as a savoury breakfast is not usually an option in Italy!
