Stunning cliffside town with a vibrant vacation scene. Dramatic beach set between the cliffs. Beautiful pedestrian-only streets filled with wonderful restaurants and shops. Many boat tour options to explore the caves and enjoy the spectacular coastline. We enjoyed the beaches, food and beautiful views of the water. The people are warm and friendly. Polignano a Mare was recommended to us during our travel in Italy and we changed our itinerary to get there. It was the best decision we made! This is a stunningly beautiful place to visit and great location to base yourself at. Polignano a Mare is a must see, and from here you can easily visit other areas. We stayed at the beautiful Santo Stefano Bed n Breakfast in the old town. Nice little town, youthful. Lively in the evening. Is not far from Bari airport, you can use also the train. There are many places for eating with good recomandations. People in general goes to the sea in the morning and some until late afternoon. You can visit old town, other beaches near. We were able to walk around town, to the beach and restaurants very easily in the cute city center. Francesco was easy to communicate with and met us promptly to show us free parking in town and helping us to unload the car. Everything in the apartment was great and as expected, no issues.
