I loved Positano, the people, the vibe, the culture and the beauty. I highly recommend going and staying in the heart of it all. I always felt safe and comfortable. I always walked at night and never had an issue. There's lots to see and do. I took in a sunset cruise, such an incredible way to see the coastline. The food is amazing, always fresh ingredients. Positano was fantastic.
Positano was fantastic. We enjoyed great restaurants and shopping. The incredible views will stay in my mind for the rest of my life. We had easy access to boats heading to Capri, which is a “must add” trip you should fit in to your plans. The beach’s are loaded with stone and you must have water shoes to get into the water. We were always at ease with the relaxing vibe that surrounded us. My wife and I will strongly recommend Positano to anyone thinking of heading that way. It is truly magical. Picturesque town, but realize that unless staying right in town center, sooner or later you will have to face lot of steps up /downhill. Taxi drivers have colluded to charge exorbitant flat fees for even the shortest drive.
