We went to Sicily for 8 days over Christmas and this was by far the highlight. Floresta is a small village located at 1300m in the Nebrodi mountains, and our room had a very nice view of it. The owner also owns a small shop and restaurant downstairs and we had dinner there too. The food was locally produced, tasted amazing and felt so homemade. The owner was also such a friendly gentleman. The room itself was nice too, very clean and featured a large bathroom.

We loved the location in the hearth of Montalbano. In the first half of may we felt almost alone in this lovely town. The atmosphere of this property was just amazing and we really appreciated the small patio to sit outside. Also, we liked surrounding nature for walks. Public parking recommended by the host was nearby and was safe. We would love to come back.

A Hidden Paradise in Nature – Pure Magic! I had the most fabulous stay in this remote, nature-surrounded haven. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely removed from the hustle of everyday life. The peaceful setting, surrounded by trees, fresh air, and the gentle sounds of animals, instantly brought a sense of calm. The accommodation itself was charming and cozy—perfectly rustic, yet comfortable and welcoming. But what truly made this place unforgettable were the animals! Cats and kittens curled up in the sun, friendly dogs wagged their tails to greet me, geese waddled about, and I even got to meet a curious pony and some stunning peacocks who proudly displayed their feathers. It was like staying in a gentle, real-life storybook. The breakfast each morning was absolutely wonderful—generous, homemade, and delicious. It was the kind of meal that you sit down for and never want to leave. And as if all that wasn’t enough, the host was one of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever met—thoughtful, warm, and always ready with a smile or helpful suggestion. It was a pleasure spending the night at Tanuta Piano Campo. Much more of a "home feeling" guesthouse experience than a impersonal "hotel" experience. We had the pleasure to have dinner with Marco and his grand parents (very friendly Nonna & Nonno) - the food and wine were amazing and the company too ! A real authentic sicilian experience. Good breakfast too, would highly recommend if you are looking for a local and authentic experience.
