What a fantastic stay!!!!! Marta is an amazing person, talkative, taking care. She told us where to eat and it was perfect, local restaurant. She prepare perfect breakfast. She took care of us like a mother preparing us to go to the mountains. The room was huge, with a beautiful terrace. Bed very comfortable. We felt like visiting best friends. I'm sure we'll be back again.

Superb old house. Beautifully furnished with comfortable rooms. Very nice reception and welcoming owners. By far the best breakfast over our trip to Sicily - cookies, cheeses, meats, nuts, and fruits. I recommend staying here if you want to see how old and traditional country house looks while having modern facilities in your room. Good place to stay if you have a car and want to go to Etna Nord. We stayed there for two nights and I would recommend it as a minimum length of stay to get the full feeling of the place and surroundings.

We loved its rustic eco appeal as it is made of the surrounding lava stone and wood. The grounds are beautifully kept and the views are lovely. The swimming pool is a boon. The food and drinks were excellent and based on local products. They went out of their way to meet my lactose intolerant needs.

Great tranquil location and proximity to Etna. We enjoyed the views of the valley and the smoky volcano with a bottle of local wine and delicious dinner. The host and the staff were very friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for a peaceful place among olive trees and vineyards with a view to Etna, don’t hesitate to book.

We had a spacious room with a terrace looking out to a snow covered Mt Etna. The views were stunning. The breakfast room had the same aspect. There was a comfortable area for sitting and relaxing here too. Matteo was so welcoming and helpful and accommodating. We were able to store our bicycles securely in his garage and undertake some bike maintenance there too.

What can I say about this accommodation and its host, Ottavio. The whole stay end to end was absolutely seamless. The accommodation is located in the most charming town in Sicily - simply beautiful and you must visit. The buildings are lovely, the people are amazing, the wine bars and restaurants were delicious. The location is perfect if you’d like to visit some vineyards, we went to Donna Fugata and Frank cornelissen’s and would recommend both. We had an issue with our room on day 1, reported it to Ottavio, and he replied immediately and resolved it within a coupes of hours. Brilliant service. The room was spotless clean and well stocked. The room also had x6 bottles of delicious local wines (available for a charge) so we were able to sit on the gorgeous terrace area and enjoy a bottle. Our host also gave us many recommendations for restaurants which were all delicious. He also offers a taxi service if you have a wine tour booked. I can’t recommend this stay enough. Get booking :)

    Randazzo sits at the right place if you want to visit the...

    Randazzo sits at the right place if you want to visit the rough part of Sicily i.e. Nebrodi. It is 20 minutes a way from Alcantara Gorge and twenty minutes more towards Taormina. If you are crossing the Messina Straight it is a good stop too. We drove from ENNA to Randazzo and the views and the ride is breath taking. We stopped many times taking photos of Mt Etna. rolling fields and farm animals. The Villages literally hanging to the cliffs on the way are jaw breaking.

    Relaxing town with welcoming atmosphere at a key point on the CircumEtnea train. We saw many people making a day trip, but I think this town deserves at least one, if not two nights. Wonderful restaurants, typical Sicilian products, and one of the best wine shops in Sicily (Il Buon Gustiano.) Randazzo would be an excellent place from which to explore Mt. Etna, the Alcantara river gorge, or focus on the DOC and DOCG Etna wineries in the area.

    A very attractive unpretentious town, with lots of interesting nooks and crannies. Fine views of Etna, and a major station on the FCE narrow gauge railway around Etna. I'd have preferred to stay 3 rather than 2 nights.

    This is a Designed 5* Farmhouse, The B fast was Exquisite. I loved the The outdoor area and the pool area and the restaurant serves excellent traditional sicilian food,The double room & Bathroom are Huge,Staff where nice always with a smile .. The Atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit noisy for my liking as it was full and there was to much light ,in my opinion It needs less lighting with some soft music which it make it more romantic for an evening dinner.

    The town lacked a bit of life and seemed quite run down. The restaurants were good, but as we were there during the Covid-19 restrictions, it's hard to provide a fair review. The town was far more scenic from the outside, than inside. Other local towns (Linguaglossa) had more atmosphere and a wider choice of restaurants.

    Very special place and exceptionally personal and friendly staff. Genuine. We'd absolutely revisit if ever back in Sicily. We did enjoy our stay there a lot. Seeing the top of Etna in sunshine from the bed in the morning, it is really difficult to describe the experience.

    This was a perfect setup for someone like me who needed somewhere save to stay for the night. It had everything I needed. The host was very kind and totally non-invasive. I was walking alone through Sicily and this was just right and at a very honest price.
