Rome was as it always is - amazing. the food is always superb, the culture and history wonderful, the people friendly. What we were not anticipating was how crowded it was....our favorite spot in the city, the Campo dei Fiori, was absolutely overwhelmed by tourists and the Campo had became very touristy since out last visit years ago. Any popular spot was overwhelmed by people. But we realized that we traveled during a high period in a Jubilee year. But any time in Rome is worth it!Guest review byAnonymous - 10

Rome is an extremely interesting city, actually an open air museum. Due to the Jubileum, the Vatican is crowded so expect to stay in line to enter the main attractions: Vatican museums, St. Peter's square and Basilica. It does help to have reservations. Getting around is confusing to start with, but relatively easy once one gets the hand of it. Giorgio arranged for a late check-in for us as we arrived late and a self check-out, he was available online for any questions we had. It took us 15-20 mins to get to the historical Rome center. The place is really big and comfortable, there are 2 rooms - a living room with kitchenette and a spacious bedroom. The place is very stylish and well-equipped.
