San Pantaleo is a charming litlle vilage, and they have market every Thursday. Lot of clothing, art, food, all. We went there , we parked almost 2km away, and we got a ticket for parking 61e. San Pantaleo was great as it is based in a historic part of Sardegna full of mountain views wherever you look. It is 20-25 minutes from the airport, so you will need a car, but most places in Italy will require car hire, unless you are staying in one place only. San Pantaleo for us was great as we enjoyed exploring the beautiful seaside during the day and relaxing in San Pantaleo for the late afternoon and evening with well served restaurants, full of character buildings, friendly people around and lovely locals. Lovely staff especially Laura the night manager and the day manager whose name I forget. The room was lush with a spectacular view of the mountains, the photo is us on the balcony. Love the toiletries that are given in the bathroom. Breakfast was great, good selection including gluten free and an excellent barista for the coffees. Lovely quiet pool. It is equally suitable for solo travellers like myself and for couples. The location is good with only a short walk from the centre of the village. The room was a little on the tight side but did have a good sized veranda with rattan furniture and coffee table.
