We absolutely loved our stay! The rooms were spacious with outstanding design and high-quality materials – luxurious in every detail and smartly laid out, with excellent air conditioning. Parking was conveniently located just below the hotel. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Their speed, attention to detail, and warm hospitality made us feel like part of the family. The breakfast service, especially the table service, was impeccable. The hotel is perfectly located right in the heart of Castelrotto, just 100 meters from a top-notch restaurant offering exquisite food, fantastic wines, and creative cocktails. We absolutely loved our stay at Dimora Buglioni. The location is beautiful, right in the middle of the vineyards, and the whole place feels calm and welcoming. The staff were really friendly and genuinely made us feel at home. We ended up extending our stay for an extra night because we didn’t want to leave. It’s a great base to explore Verona and Valpolicella if you're traveling by car.

    If you're staying here to commute into Verona, don't.

    If you're staying here to commute into Verona, don't. The bus systems aren't very reliable and you can't stay too long in the city or else you miss the last bus that leaves early in the night. I had multiple experiences standing and waiting at bus stops in 95-degree heat for busses that were running late and it was miserable. San Pietro in Cariano is a beautiful little town but there isn't much there and not many people speak a language outside of Italian as it is not a tourist spot and such a small town. There are a few restaurants in town, but the language barrier is difficult and often I would just prefer to wait and eat down in Verona as it was easier. The commute by bus into town is about 30-40 minutes and there is no working AC on the bus so you are either standing or sitting in your own sweat for that entire time. I would have rather spent the money and stayed in the city, but the place I stayed in San Pietro in Cariano was lovely and I have no complaints about that, I just chose the wrong location.

    This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The estate is amazingly beautiful with an impressive country house or even call it a small castle, in which we had a 'tower' room that was huge. The service was excellent, the food was great and the wine selection was fantastic. And all this with great value-for-money. We especially appreciated the help and advice from the director and the barman (loved the wine recommendations). Def a place to come back to!!

    Amazing experience: very comfortable hotel among wine yards. Helpful hosts. It’s brilliant idea with wine, tea and water - you can take any time you want all necessary on the shared big cosy kitchen. We offered tasting menu with 5 wines - our strong recommendation, it was like an art and fantastic delicious.
