We could not rate Masseria Torre Maizza highly enough. All of the staff were exceptional and tended to any and all of our needs. The facilities were fantastic and the food both breakfast (included in our stay) and the meals by the pool, at the beach club and in the main restaurant were superb. Friendly helpful staff on arrival and when needed some questions answered always very helpful and available. The location was beautiful surrounded by olive trees and nature able to see the night sky, not far from the center just 10 min car journey, less to local shopping centre for the supermarket.

We met the host, Antonella, who is a lovely person and was available on WhatsApp during our stay for everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare breakfast. The apartment is beautifully decorated with a comfy king bed. On top of the apartment, there is a lovely terrace, a relaxing area from where you can see the sea and enjoy a drink or two. Savelletri was a very quiet location but close to main attractions. We had free parking in front of the apartment. There is also a café bar just a minute away where you can have some food, pastries, and delicious ice cream. I tried their new variant of ice cream called "pane e olio," which is the most delicious and interesting.

Great little apartment very close to everything that Savelletri has to offer. The hosts are fantastic, and welcomed me with fruit and wine. From my understanding I was the first guest at the accommodation. The terrace was beautiful, Savelletri as a town is quiet and low key, with some great spots to eat and drink. The accommodation was exactly what I needed - I wanted to be able to cook for myself, and enjoy a slow pace of life in the Italian summer, which this was perfect accommodation to do so. Parking was available, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen has everything that I needed to cook. Breakfast offer was typical Italian, cornetto, fruit, yoghurt, coffee. I hope many more people book this accommodation as it was really great.

    What you need to know - on day two of our stay the bathroom...

    What you need to know - on day two of our stay the bathroom lighting and hot water ceased to work in one bathroom and this could not be repaired for us. Apologies given but no offer of compensation. You will be expected to manage the garbage and take it out so be prepared for this. It sounded quiet confusing and I refused to do it - The iron was not safe to use - yet is listed as available, this was very important for our stay as we were attending a wedding. I was later told by the owner - the iron was not meant to be listed. We we told by the owner we had broken the law as we had the air conditioning set to 17. Their are no windows in the bedrooms and it got very warm at night. This law actually is only for public places but it did upset me. The property is beautiful and well located. The owner was very unhappy with my truthful review.

    It was a slow time of year to go but that was the best part.

    It was a slow time of year to go but that was the best part. Not a lot of people to deal with. Some of the restarants were closed but still plenty to chose from. Beaches were a little farther to get to but nice when you found a free beach. Had to pay for parking to get to the beach.

    Weather was perfect, resturants did not have a big selection of other food than fish. The fish was served with pasta etc. but still, for a meat lover the selection was poor. Local small supermarkets offered fresh baguettes with fresh topping. HArd to find breakfast in the local restaurants, supermaket was the saviour.

    The apartment is new, light and welcoming.

    The apartment is new, light and welcoming. Tony was always available by phone to answer any questions we had and offered suggestions for dining options, beach locations, etc. Appliances are all new and having a washer/dryer was extremely helpful. The restaurants just outside the main door are both very good and convenient. Savelletri has many restaurant choices for a small town.

    The apartment is newly renovated, on a quiet street with a sea view. It’s a great base to enjoy the region, the wild beaches (1 min walk) or lido nearby. Savelletri has a lovely boardwalk with over 10 restaurants, a couple of stores to get fruits, cheese and some basic pantry items. Monopoli and Poligniano a Mare are 15 and 25 minutes away by car. Gianni has helped us arrange a wonderful 3-hour private boat tour to see the coastline and generously shared advice on best restaurants around. Definitely coming back next year!

    Most importantly, all the staff were extremely helpful and lovely to deal with, especially the breakfast/reception/poolside staff. The room was large, clean and comfortable, the poolside was really relaxing, and the breakfasts were very good. We found it a great location to tour Puglia from, making many day trips out; Savalletri also has many good fish restaurants and a super-friendly coffee bar within easy walking distance of the hotel, which we really appreciated.

    Villa Anna was a perfect apartment and generous in size. A full kitchen and laundry facilities where a bonus especially when travelling. It has its own driveway and carport for a car which is very handy as you do need a car in this location to explore wonderful Puglia. Very close to the township of Savelletri and excellent value. Highly recommended
