Unfortunately the churches weren't open nor were several small food shops for provisions, perhaps due to holidays. Due to the days I stayed there I also missed the food market which was a pity. It is modern but has preserved the old city beautifully. The old square with its restaurants around it while families sit around the square. Lots of lanes to explore. Senigallia is one of my favorite town.
Senigallia is one of my favorite town. Nice beach, amazing food, historic buildings and very welcoming. We liked the town with the nice old houses and allies, the beaches and the little shops and restaurants. It had a relaxed atmosphere. When we stayed there there was a festival called Jambala. It was with live music, foodtrucks and a market in rock 'n rol theme. We were in the middle of the town and could do everything walking. Except for a beach pizzeria/bar, there's nothing else around, it's mostly a residential area, so the beach is half empty all the time. You can either take a (long) walk, or bike, or drive to Senigallia center, which is quite pretty. The accomodation has a very convenient parking place.
