Location is perfect. Facilities clean and beautiful. The staff were lovely. When we arrived we discovered we had no electricity (no aircon) in our room. They kindly offered us a new room which ended up as an upgrade. This was so greatly appreciated as we had just finished our first day driving on the opposite side and our hire car overheating, we were exhausted. We stayed 6 nights, breakfast was delicious, Pool was clean with amazing views and room was comfortable.

Small and not overrun with lots of foreign tourists. Station very convenient so easy to use as a base to visit Asissi, Spoleto and Perugia, yet plenty to see in Spello. A delightful little hill town. Hard walking up hill but downhill all the way home if accommodation was at the bottom end of the walled city.

Spello is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. It’s small but there is always something to see. Plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from and always a photo opportunity. Spello is an Italian dream.

We has a two bed apartment at Residenza Isabella. The apartment was clean and offered us what we needed/expected. We had a small outside area where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner, without any disturbance from other guests. Nice pool! So the overall impression/experience was Good, even though the overall accommodation felt a bit outdated. But we were out every day exploring the surroundings, so the location is great - close to Spello, Perugia, Assisi, Montefalco, Norcia etc., so we were happy!

Large quiet apartment well-furnished with eat-in kitchen. Host is helpful with good trip & restaurant recommendations. Good base for the area with easy parking and road choices. Wifi good at 30Mb. Quick access to Spello by car where parking is easy. We especially liked nearby Bevagna and the Hermitage of the Carceri of St. Francis is memorable. Note the apt. is by stairs on 3rd floor (called floor 2 in Italy).

It was a very beautiful time that we spent at Domus. Everything about the property was excellent. Our host, Cassandra is one of the best people that I’ve come across who would go out of the way to make our stay comfortable in every way possible. I highly recommend anyone who’s travelling to Umbria region to stay at Domus.

A charming villa in Umbria. A 5-minute drive from the medieval town of Spello. Surrounded by olive and trees and grape vines. The house is spacious and lovely. The host was friendly and helpful. They didn't speak English but we were able to communicate via Google translate.
